Chapter 1. The Attack

The group walked out the building, sadness and sorrow written all over their faces. But the blue haired one was the worst among them. He let them down..the people of Royal Paladin ..Blaster Blade..and he let Kai down.
Thinking of that made Aichi more depressed, and when Kai sensed this, he smiled faintly at Aichi

"At least your back to normal" he said, the others heard this and smiled "Yea, and you have Blaster Blade back as well" continued Misaki "I'm sure that's a good feeling. Having your card deck back"

Aichi smiled faintly back at them "Yes. The best feeling actually..but.." he trailed off, turning silent once again with a sad frown on his face.

Everyone turned silent again and walked in silence to the car that was waiting for them. The driver opened the passenger door, and before Aichi could get in, Kai stopped him. "We'll find a way to defeat him, Aichi. So don't be hard on yourself, it wasn't your fault."

Aichi smiled sadly, "I was weak-" "Yes. You were weak, because you didn't use PSY Qualia to control you. Ren was stronger because of it, if he wasn't controlled you would have won."
The blunette stayed silent, looking down at the ground letting his friend's words sink in.
Finally he looked up and smiled at Kai "Thanks Kai-kun"

Kai only smiled and nodded. "I'm gonna walk around the city for a while" he said to his teammates and closed the door when Aichi got in.

He watched as the car drove away and with a sigh, he walked away into the city.

The burnett walked through the crowds with his hands in his pockets. His mind lost in his thoughts.

flashback

Aichi screamed in agony when more pain come across his mind, his eyes flashing the PSY Qualia once then turning back to normal. Kai just sat there, his eyes full of concern for his friend. But he can't do anything now..he can kick Ren's ass later.

Ren saw Kai glaring at him and with a smirk and a finally move, won the battle.

Aichi's eyes widen but then suddenly another knife of pain came through him making him scream and he fall unconscious and before he could fall to the ground, Kai got up and caught the blunette.

"Aichi! Aichi, wake up!" Kai shock Aichi slightly, ignoring Ren laughing and the audience gasping.

When the blunette didn't awake Kai glared a glare at Ren that could kill him in seconds. Ren just grinned and laughed more.

End of flashback

"Bastard" he said under his breathe, turning a corner to a dark valley that was a short cut to the hotel. "If I ever see him again I'll kill him."

Suddenly Kai felt hands grab his wrist tightly, and before he could do anything, the person threw him into a wall.
He yelped when his head hit the hard wall and the hands wrapped around his neck, clocking him slightly.

"Is this him?" Said a deep voice in the dark. "Brown hair..green eyes..beautiful body..yup it's him." Said the person holding him. Kai shock the daze out of his eyes and glared at the masked men. "Who are you?" He demanded. All he got was a chuckle then a knife. pressed against his cheek.

"That's not of your business, Utsukushīdesu. You be lucky we're ordered to only do physical damage to you." The man sneered and cut a small deep cut on Kai's cheek making him wince.

His eyes widen when he was punched in the gut and he coughed blood. He slowly became and the last thing he remembered was a fist coming at his face then everything went blank.
