A single tear dropped onto the envelope that held the sweetest words anyone could ask for.
I read the words, "I really do adore you, Maddie." In the envelope i pulled out an ornament. The one Felix picked out in the store. "I love you." It said.
I looked out my window and there, there was a smiling Felix sitting on a park bench across the street.
I cleaned off the presents and put them onto my floor. Soy creeped out from god knows where and hopped into my bed. I couldnt wipe my cheesy smile from my face and Soy kept staring me down. "You'll know what love is like someday." I whispered to her.
Was I in love with him?
Was he in love with me?
I dont know him well enough do I?
Thoughts scattered through my brain as I lay staring at the ceiling.
Most of all, why wont he tell me who he really is? Is he hiding something? Maybe im just tired. I dont know. Goodnight.
