Scary Movie Time

-"Sol I'm booored!" You complained, laying down on his couch while watching the honey bees float around lazily.
-"That'2 not really my problem." Sollux replied, only briefly glancing at you before turning back to his husktop.
-You huffed at him before trying again. "Actually it is. You invited me over and I'm booored!" You sat up and faced him, waiting for his reply.
-He sighed. "Fine. What do you want to do then?" He asked now giving you his full attention. You hadn't really thought about it, and blushed at your stupidity. "I dunno... Something..."
-"Hmm, why don't we watch a movie then?" He asked, and your face lit up.
-" Yeah! That sounds like fun!" You agreed, jumping up. It had been a while since you got to watch a movie with Sollux, since he was always on his computer. So before he could change his mind you rushed over and pulled him up out of his chair, quietly noticing how soft and warm his hands were.
-You pulled him along blushing at the fact that you were holding hands with the mustard blood. You had to admit you were flushed for him like nobody's business. But always tried to ignore it.
-Once you got to his living room you released his light grey hand and went to get snacks and stuff, telling him to pick the movie.
-You quickly came back with chips, popcorn, soda, and a fuzzy blanket. Sollux was sitting on the couch waiting for you.
-He stood up when he finally noticed you, and took the snacks from you so you didn't have to balance it all awkwardly.
-"Thanks," You said, taking a seat with the blanket as he set down the snacks on his coffee table. He then joined you rather closely (Not that you minded) and turned on the movie- pulling some of the blanket over himself.
-To your horror he had picked a scary movie, knowing full well you were terrible with them. You pouted at him and he softley snickered. 'This time,' you thought, ' I won't get scared!'. But you still pulled the blanket up higher.
-About halfway through the movie you had just grabbed a handful of popcorn, bringing it up to your mouth. But sadly you didn't get any of the buttery deliciousness because a jumpscare caused you to accidentally throw the popcorn everywhere. You freaked and clutched onto Sollux burying your face in his T-shirt. You whimpered quietly, and cursed your childish outburst. You had failed to not get scared this time... maybe next time though?
~Sollux's PoV~
-"Jegu2 (y/n)," I playfully scolded her, " you made 2uch a me22!" But my face quickly flushed bright yellow as she clung onto me with her face buried in my shoulder. She let out a pitiful whimper. And for a second I was grateful that she couldn't see my face. But then I just felt bad.
-I had picked this movie out to scare her, because even though it was so predictable and laughable at best, she still managed to get get scared out of her wits... But I had not meant to do this much damage.
-"I'm sorry," She grumbled. And in a split second reaction I wrapped my arms around her and I could hear her muffled gasp. She slowly looked up, her cheeks tinging pink. Our faces were now inches apart. I quickly decided to take a chance before she pulled away or I could let myself chicken out again.
-"It'2 okay..." I murmered leaning closer slowly, breaching the distance.
~Your PoV~
-He leaned closer, until our lips were almost touching. I held onto the material of his T-shirt tighter. When our lips finally brushed I let my eyes flutter close, savoring the moment. I gently kissed him back, still in disbelief. My flush crush was kissing me! He was actually kissing me! I released one hand from his shirt and softley placed it on the back of his neck, smiling into the kiss as his soft pitch colored hair tickled my fingers. It was like a dream come true. But alas, I gently pulled away, looking up into his bi-colored glasses.
-"S-Sollux..." I managed to breathe out.
-A loud scream resonated from the TV, startling me and making me jump, and in the process bonk heads with Sollux. 'Dammit!' I thought, 'That just ruined iiiiiit!'.
-He chuckled as I rubbed my forehead frowning.
-"What's so funny..." I mumbled. He only smiled again.
-"Why are you 2o adorable?" He asked teasingly, and my face flushed again. I turned away with a huff and I locked eyes with the TV. I had so many questions running through my mind. 'What the hell did that mean?' or, 'Why did you do that?' or even, 'Does that mean you like me?' But I quieted those thoughts and comtented myself to comfortable silence when he draped one of his arms over my shoulders, inviting me to rest my head on him. We finished the movie like this, and only a few times did I have to hide my face in the blanket.
~Time skip & Narrator's PoV~
-You knew that with the lingering paranoia of monsters and terrible things after watching a movie meant no sleep for you. Or no good sleep. The movie was long over and were curled up on the couch Sollux had in his respiteblock, covered in blankets up to your nose, and staring wide eyed into the enveloping darkness.
-Sollux was fast asleep in his recooperacoon, and all the noise that you strained to hear was your own breathing, some late night bumble bees still buzzing about, and the fast paced thumping of your own heartbeat. You whimpered again, curling up into a tight ball as your restless mind wandered to the darkness of fear again. The spound carried louder than you would have liked and you stayed completely silent, listening to see if you had accidentaly woke your companion up.
-You heard sloshing noises and mentally face palmed as a quiet lispy voice spoke, "(Y/n)? Are you okay over there?"
-Dang. You really hadn't meant to wake him. You planned to quickly make up an excuse and have him go back to bed. "Sorry Sol... I just couldn't sleep is all, to many things on my mind..." You whispered back, hoping he wouldnt see through your half lie and know you were scared shitless because of that stupid movie. He would just feel guilty about it. He sighed. The jig was up.
-"Dammit (y/n), 2orry, it wa2 the movie wa2n't it?" He simply asked, no snapping tone in his voice like his words seemed to entail, knowing why you really could not sleep. You heard some more sloshing noises and the sound of wet skin slapping the floor as he jumped out. This is exactly what you hadn't wanted.
-"No, Sollux, please don't get out, go back to sleep, I'm fine really..." You pleaded, knowing full well he wouldn't buy it. He always had more terrible nightmares than other trolls due to his ability. He just sighed and you could just barely make off his form in the darkness, he was busy drying off with a towel.
-"Move over." He said, standing above you. With a huff you scooted over enough to make some room for him on the couch. Only after he had layed down under the blankets did you realize he was shirtless. Your face heated up for who knows what time that night. He pulled you against his chest comfortingly and you prayed to gog he wouldn't feel the heat radiating from your face. But of course it never does work like that.
-"Hey, (y/n), are you okay? Your face i2 kinda hot..." He remarked quietly, bringing a hand up and brushing the back of it againsnt your forehead. You only blushed harder. This boy was gonna be the end of you, or at least help with your almighty transformation into a tomatoe. The best tomatoe.
-"Y-yeah," You stuttered, starting to get flustered by the situation you were in, "I-It's just than I, um, well, uhhhh...." You just kinda trailed off, not sure what to say. And you sure as hell didn't want to confess your flushed feeling for him like this. What would you even say?! 'I'm blushing like a cheezy anime character because your shirtless and I love you?' HELL TO THE NO! Oh gog it was hot in here.
-He tilted your head up so you were facing him, and you could see his intriguing red and blue eyes even through the darkness, and for once he wasnt wearing those glasses. The second thing you noticed was his signature smirk playing on his very kissable lips, which was now a much more common expression piece for him now. You remembered when you first met Sollux he was colder towards you, and the mere thought of cuddling the gemini in his respite block after what had happened before during the movie would have seemed entirely impossible and idiotic.
