It Just Happened

Sleep Overs.

"Umm, what was that about?" Malina said trailing behind me and I knew she was going to interrogate me, annoying but she's my best friend and I couldn't say no to her.

"That was just me walking away from temptation" I said trying to act cool but Malina didn't believe my cool look.

"Sure!" Malina said smirking. She can be a little evil I'd say.

"Arkk" I sigh giving up. "Fine!! I just think he looks cute, and don't get me started, all cute guys who act cocky as him are untrusted" I said trying to hide the fact that I believe Trystan was different. "I mean, who knows."

"Well I think you like him, come on, we've been in the same school for 4 years and all you got is cute?" Malina said closing the bathroom door.

"I know but he was annoying back then, how was I supposed to know I'd be attracted to him in our senior year?" I said leaning on the bathroom sink.

"I think people change Ana!" She said giving away hand gestures. I guess she's right! Well when I first entered high school, I was in the same year as my 9 group of friends and Trystan but back then, he was annoying and I didn't seem to bother checking him out until beginning of senior year when all of a sudden he became the school's center of attraction, for girls especially. Like Prada to Nada Trystan went from Nada to Prada, it surprised me how he became a fitness freak and joined the football team.

"You're probably right but were closing in on our major exams so I'd like to focus on getting good grades for Yale." I said with my forehead against the bathroom mirror.

"Ana, your friends are here" I heard Trystan from the other side of the door. Was he listening? How long was he standing there? Oh my this is so embarrassing.

"Thanks, we'll be out in a sec" I gave Malina a omg look and being the bestie she is, she knew what I was talking about and ran for the door. "Malina don't you dare" fortunately when she yanked the door open Trystan was not on sight and I gave a sigh in relief.

We made our way to the living room, Jayden and Trystan were playing tekken. "Hey hey hey" Jayden said as he dropped the controller and ran to give me a hug while Trystan's eyes remained fixed on the TV.

"Hey jayjay" I hugged him back. " where is James?".

"Oh he went to his room, something about Thomas?" Yeah like I said earlier, Jayden was also having a sleepover. Thomas is James best friend who lives across the street and Monday was comic book day for them so lucky me I get the house excluding the house workers, they finish duty at 7 and just my luck it was 6:45 so I guess they must be finishing off.

After I told Jayden about the plan for our sleepover I went to drop off James. " okay, call me if you need anything james" I kissed my brother's cheek and left him with the Gardner family. When I turned around to head back home I saw Trystan and Alison practically flirting just in front of my house. I thought Alison wasn't coming over? Oh but maybe she heard Trystan was staying?hmm. I wondered as I made my way to the front door ignoring them.

"Hey Ana sorry I'm late" Alison said and I turn back to find her giving an apologetic look.

"Err, its okay, but I thought you weren't going to make it?" I said trying to sound polite and calm.

"Uh yea, but my date didn't show up so I decided to come over since my parents knew I'd be here" she said waiving off.

"Sure, come in then, its getting cold" I said holding the door wide open as she and Trystan made their way in.
