-Alpha, six rogues have entered the territory, Greg and Lynn have taken them to the holding cell. My Beta Aiden tells me through our pack link making me look up from the paperwork I was currently doing.

-Thank you, Aiden, I'll be sure to come see them immediately. I say, my eyes fixed on the door and I stand.

-Of course, Alpha. He says just as I cut off the link. I sigh and make my way out of my office, into the hall and down to the elevator. I'm feeling lazy, sue me. It dings once and I'm in the main part of the house where most my pack members have gathered to hang out.

I smile and greet them in passing before heading out only to have my little brother come running at me before walking in pace with me, well, he attempts to keep up with my long strides with his short legs.

"Hello, Carter. "

"Hello, little brother." He scowls at me as I grin, ruffling up his hair.

"Jerk, "he huffs before puffing his chest as we walk passed a group of girls around his age, ranging from 15-17.I roll my eyes at him. "So, what is on the agenda for us today?" He tries to make his voice deeper than it is and the girls giggle at him. I clasp my hand onto his shoulder and he winces.

"Well, I am going to the holding cells while you go back to where ever you came from and hang out with people your own age." He pouts before perking up and smirking up at me and I stop to look at him.

"Well, what if I said this 'where ever I came,' is exactly the same place you are going to now?" He grins as though he just came up with the most amazing thing ever and I raise my eyebrow.

"I'd most probably say I don't believe you." Just like that his best friend Vincent comes by and my brother pulls him to his chest and points at him, his finger touching and pushing his friends cheek.

"What if I said you should ask him?" I narrow my eyes. Vincent is known to be brutally honest and it's something everyone respects him for, he just never lies, I swear the guy can't even force one out. I bend down to eye level with him since Andrew, my brother, has him in a head lock, making him shorter than he actually is.

"Vincent. "I say and he looks up at me with bright blue eyes.

"Yes, Alpha?" He smiles and takes a hold of Andrews forearm, not bothering to fight his hold, seeming to enjoy it very much. His back won't appreciate his ease later.

"Did Andrew here ever go near the holding cells today? "

"No, sir." He answers not missing a beat and I look up at Andrew who is sporting a horrified look. He lets go of Vincent who must have been allowing Andrew to support his weight because then he fell face first.

"Woah! "I stifled a laugh before turning to a pouting Andrew.

"That wasn't very nice." He huffs while Vincent stands up to his full height, dusting himself off, frowning down at my brother.

"Life isn't nice." Andrew says but doesn't make a move to leave. Vincent tilts his head too the left, his shaggy blonde hair falling to the side.

"You're very grumpy right now. "Vincent points out, poking his cheeks.

"Thank you, Sherlock." I smile and shake my head at them, they are too cute, I swear. Vincent pokes him again and Andrew turns a deep shade of pink.

"Quit it, Vince. "He whines only for Vincent to smile widely and do it over again. "You are infuriating!" Andrew growls and stomps off, Vincent right behind him. I turn around and continue the way I had been going. The trees hide me from the pack house and I bend down, dusting away the leaves and find the handle leading to the holding cells. I pull it up and step down the stairs.
