The Best Thing

Chapter 14

"Hello?" I say into my phone.
"Hi, is this Kaelin Kardashian?" A lady asks.
"Yes, who is this?"
"This is Ellen Degeneres's manager and she'd like to have you on the show."
"Wow. Yes of course. When should I be there?" I ask.
"Today at 3."
"Ok I'll be there. Thank you."
I hang up the phone and run to my closet.
I pull on a white dress shirt, a high waisted beige pencil skirt with a skinny black belt, a black and gold necklace, a grey dress coat jacket, and nude heels.

I let my hair down in its new ombré curls, and put on a light coat of makeup.
Since Shawn is at the studio today, and Faye is at a date with some guy, I decide to call three of my favorite people.
Aaliyah Mendes, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner.
They all say yes and we meet up at Kylie's house.
"Hey Kaelin!" Kylie says as she opens the door.
I laugh as I see her two twin girls, Nina and Kat, run around.
"Ok so where are Aaliyah and Kendall?" I ask.
"Well, Kendall is right here!" I turn around and see Kendall standing behind me.
"Kendall!!" I hug her tightly.
"And Aaliyah said she'll be here soon."

About 10 minutes later, we hear w knock at the door.
Kylie opens it and I see Aaliyah.
Last time I saw her was when she was 12.
Now, she's almost 18
"Aaliyah!" I yell as she runs over and hugs me.
"I've missed you so much!" She says.
"I've missed you too."
After our little reunion, we get in Kylie's car and drive to The Ellen Show.
