The Best Thing

Chapter 17

"I'm so nervous." I whisper to Kanye as we wait outside the doors for me to walk down the aisle.
"Don't be. This is your day." Kanye says.
"What if I'm not ready dad?" I whisper.
"You're more than ready."
As the giant church doors open, my heart starts to race.
Everyone's eyes are on me.
I slowly start to walk, keeping my head up.
As I near the end of the aisle, I see Kim.
She's crying, so is Kanye.
I immediately walk over and hug them.
"I love you guys."
"We love you more." Kim whispers.
I smile and walk over to Shawn, who is also crying.
"Stop crying idiot." I say loud enough for everyone to hear.
"It's your fault." He says with a laugh.
After our little laugh, the priest starts the ceremony.
"We are gathered here today, to see the marriage of these two lovebirds. Shawn Peter Raul Mendes and Kaelin Mahogany Kardashian West."
After some words.
It's time for vows.
Shawn goes first.
"Kaelin, gosh, where do I start?" Shawn says with a nervous laugh. "When Kendall first told me about you, I had a hunch that you'd be special. And boy was I right. When we first kissed, I knew you were the one. I knew you were my soulmate. Then you became pregnant with Mahogany. I knew you were scared out of your mind. We were so young. Then you were kidnapped. That whole time I was a wreck. I would leave the world. But what it all taught me was, you're my love. The one I can't live without."
By the time Shawn's done talking, I'm in tears.
