POV: Jabar
Gunfire ripped through the leaves as the dilos spat at the guards' faces. I ducked behind a large boulder. A rifle! I thought as I leaned around but yanked back as a shot of poison whizzed past. I then grabbed the rifle as a dilo popped over the edge of the rock. I opened fire and it crumpled to the ground. I then ran to a jeep and called for James to get in and we sped through the jungle towards the boat. "Well that was close!" said a voice from behind. I about jumped out of my skin and we crashed off a cliff into the river below.
"Brogan! You nearly killed us!" I said when we had gotten to the bank. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you." James came up to him and punched him in the face, knocking his glasses three yards away. Alexi got up and held his nose which was bleeding and was crooked, "I deserved that, boy you have a strong punch, don't you?" He said as he picked up his glasses.
The silence was broken by radio chatter, "This is Captain Dringle, do not come back to the boat, repeat, do not come back to the boat, oh no, ru..." *Gunfire* *Roar*!
The radio went silent.
