Malaisha

The ride to Ms.K Marine Palace was long and the air felt thick.

I couldn't keep the image of Nicole out of my head. Trust me I tried but it kept coming back.I constantly tried pushing it to the back of my head but I had no luck.I love Dia I really do that's my best friend for life but things feel a lil out of place and Idk what it is.

"Were here"Ms.K said getting out the car. Dia and I followed as we walked into this large building.

We was immediately surrounded by large tanks of water with a certain group of sea animals in each.

"Oh my gosh!"Dia gushed running over to the dolphins.

I smiled a bit at how childish she was. I continued to look over the lion fish.They interacted as if they were all aware of one another's dominance.

"Sorry im Late" The girl from earlier said running in. "My p.o was tripping Ms.K you know how Terri get"

"Alright Alexia"Ms.k said.

"Im here ,im here "Nicole yelled running threw the door as well.

Somebody shoot me please.

Diamond

The girl who likes me and the girl who likes Malaisha is here and things couldn't get any more awkward. Other then them I really loved this place.

"This place is mad chill momma especially them dolphins "I said hyped.

"You wanna pet them"Alex said smiling.

"We can do that?"I asked wide eyed.

"Of course come on everyone "Alex said pulling me by my hand.

She basically dragged me up the flight of stairs to the top with long and wide windows bringing in sunlight.

I realized we were still holding hands as the dolphins swam to the top.

"Oh my goodness "I squealed running to the top.

"Easy glam girl"The girl said. "Nicole by the way"

"Hi "I said ignoring her hand as she held it out waiting for me to shake it.

"I know you see her hand"Malaisha said.

"Malaisha shut the fuck up cause you ain't want to talk earlier but now your lil girl friend here you just as happy as can be , were over now miss me with that shit alright "I snapped not able to take no more bull from her.

The girls just stood and watched as Malaisha stormed off Nicole running behind her.

I couldn't help the tears that started to fall. I just lost my best friend and my girlfriend at the same time.

"Don't cry Dia"Jewel said wiping my tears with the sleeve of her shirt.

"I don't know what's wrong with her "I cried into Jewels shirt.

"What's wrong with Mal-"M said coming up the stairs but stopped mid sentence.

"Diamond...baby"She said as she seen my tears. "I think we should go home"

"No!"I said quickly. "I like it here I wanna stay and watch the animals "

"Alright sweet heart" M said kissing my forehead and walking away.

Malaisha

I can't believe this shit you.How the ....ughhhhh! I just wanna punch the shit out of the tank that held the sea lions.

"Take a seat right here"Nicole said pushing me in the chair.

I put my head in my hands as the events replayed over and over.

Nicole soft hands stroked my hair as I held in the tears.

"When I'm sad and I come here I usually go and watch the seals, they just had babies and they are so cute"Nicole said taking me by the hand.

We walked up the stairs in the other side of the dolphin tank to the seals.

"They look like wet slugs"I laughed as Nicole laughed along.

"You have a wild imagination Malaisha "Nicole laughed.

"Look there goes the baby"I said standing behind Nicole as she pressed her head against the clear slide door.

"Soo cute"she squealed.

I slowly wrapped my arms around her waist.

"No, Malaisha you just got out of a relationship "Nicole said pulling my hands off of her.

"Damn, you right "I said sitting back down putting my head in my hands feeling sad again.

Diamond

"Awww"I laughed as Alex came over to me pouting because the dolphin splashed her.

"Talk about a wet dream "Kacie Joked causing us to laugh.

I handed alex her towel so she could dry off.

"Why do you come here?" I asked as she sat on the lower part of my legs.

"Umm I want to be a field Marine biologist when I get older and your mom is helping me"She smiled throwing the towel over her back.

"I want to be a social worker, help kids with abusive parents and stuff like that you know " Alex face softened.

I heard the girls squeal as the dolphins  followed them as they walked around the tank.

"That's actually how I got in the system "she said with a crooked smile.

"Don't talk about it I don't want to see you cry "I said.

"Im a big girl Dia"she laughed. "My mother was a crack fein and my daddy committed suicide when I was 14 he was schizophrenic said the demons was after him. The neighbors saw him hanging from his window sheets around his neck."

"Im so sorry"I said pulling her into a hug.

"Don't be sorry I just want you to be a good friend "

"And I will"I smiled letting her go.

"Back to the story, My mother brought men home every night,they never touched me cause I would sneak out and sleep in the slide that looks like a tube until the next morning,one day in particular I was still 14 now 17 I came back and my mom was sitting at the table with these two women in formal clothes. She tried to sound concerned as to where I've been but they weren't buying it. Although I love my mom to death I needed better. They took me away and put my mom in rehab.Shes getting out in 3 months and I can't wait"

By the end I had tears in my eyes.

"And you were worried about me crying "She said wiping my tears away with her thumb.

"Enough with the sad stuff come look at the dolphins "Tori yelled.

Alex looked at me before we both ran over to the edge of the tank.
