I looked into his shiny eyes. So many colors I couldn't decide. My phone rang as loud as ever. "Oh gosh... its a flash flood warning." I said. I looked up into the sky. It was a dark grey. "Wait...you don't like rain?" Mikey asked. "NO...I LOVE rain....it brings back some good memories." I said smiling at him. "Oh well I love rain to...so are you from around here because I have NEVER seen you around...and I know almost everyone around these parts." Mikey looked at me. I was soooo red. "No actually I am from California." I said. "Wow and what made you travel across the country." He asked. "Well I came here to visit my boyfriend...and well there was kind of a delay." I said looking back at the dark grey sky. "Well I'm sorry that you guys broke up...so I never had the chance to ask...whats your name." He said smiling. "My name is Guadalupe...but my friends call me Lupe for short...and let me guess...You are Mikey Marrero." I say grinning at him. "So where are you staying...not in a stalker way or anything." He said blushing. "Well I'm staying at some hotel...its right here." I say as I show him the map to the hotel. "Im staying in room 179...my mom doesn't have a problem with visitors so you can come by any time...just call first." I say. I feel the clouds crying on me. It started to rain lightly. "I should get going but I will call you later okay Lupe." He said while walking off. I walk back to my hotel and into the room I'm staying in. I fall asleep immediately. I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. "Who is it?" I ask. "Room service I have a package for Guadalupe." I get out of bed and open the door. "Are you Guadalupe." The man in the suit asks. I nod my head. "Here you go young lady." He gives me a yellow rose and turns and walks off. I read the note that is tied to it. I read it out loud. "Dear Guadalupe I hope you enjoy the flower I picked for you. I got it from the park. Where we first met. I think you have a beautiful voice. So what I'm trying to say is...well will you go out with me. Love Mikey." I start to blush like crazy. "AHHHHH!" I got scared and turn around. It was my mom. She had the biggest most ridiculous smile on her face. "Mom you scared me." I closed the door behind me. "Im just excited"the smile on my moms face went away,"but aren't you going out with John?" She said sadly. "No not any more." I say sadly. "Oh well lets not jump onto those topics lets go out to eat breakfast."I smile and got ready. "Lets eat." I say as I walk out of the room with my mom.
