The cool breeze whispered throughout the air. The leaves rustled to the breeze, making a sound to make you calm down. Fishes were swimming around the lake, and the land animals were enjoying themselves. Footsteps were to be heard and the land animals ran. "Ethan!" A girl shrieked. "Come out now! I have a job for you, so then we'd both be equal with jobs." A body came out of the bushes.

"Ethan! Good! Tell me which job or jobs your want to do." Echo told him. "You can either collect food, moss, or herbs. As well as cobwebs." Echo told him. "I'll collect food." Ethan told her. "A'ight. I'll do the others." The two of them nodded and dashed off in different directions.

"Echo!"

"Yeah?

"Wild pack of dogs."

"What?!"

"In trees!" Ethan shouted and started climbing up the nearest tree furiously. Echo closed her eyes and listened closely to the world. She heard slight yapping. But, when she felt the vibration on the ground, it was high. "Dear lord." She looked for the nearest tree and started to climb it.

Once she finished climbing, Echo saw the wild pack of dogs, yapping loudly and running around furiously. Bark, bark, bark, was all she heard. "Stupid dogs." She muttered and summoned a pistol in her hands. It shined as the light from the sun hit the pistol's metal cover. "Psh. Come here dogs..." Echo crouched down in position, getting ready to shoot the dogs. Ethan accidentally shuffled too loudly and shook the tree branch. It made a loud eerie sound. Suddenly, the dogs stared at Ethan, growling and approaching him slowly. Echo growled and started shooting the dogs in the heads.

When Echo shot, it made a loud boom. The dogs screeched and started running in different directions. "Stupid dogs!" Echo heard Ethan hiss at them. Ethan started to summon a gun as well. A dog was coming toward her tree and Ethan shot at the dogs head. "Good." Echo secretly admired Ethan's skills, but she wouldn't exactly say it out loud all the time.

Echo saw that a dog was climbing a tree. "What?!" She screeched. "Ethan! Watch out!" She called out and Ethan turned around, starting to see the dog climb for him. She shot it at it's head and it's limp body fell with a thud.

"Thank God you killed it. Thank you Echo!" Ethan called out to her. "You're welcome." She smiled but looked down, seeing a dog looking rather possessed than the other dogs. All of her instincts told her to run, but she stared at it. Echo glanced upwards to see that Ethan saw it as well, looking frightened. Ethan kept on crouching down, getting ready to attack while Echo was extending her claws.

The next second, Ethan's body fell limp off the tree. "Ethan!" Echo screeched and jumped down, landing next to Ethan. "Help..." Ethan whimpered to Echo and his body started to fade away.

Echo did not realize that as Ethan as fading away, particles were coming out the other way. The particles were bunched together and they started to swerve around trees. It called to her saying, "follow us." Echo followed the particles as they kept on moving around trees, bushes, and land animals. Finally, they stopped. She stared at the particles once more. They were swarming around something, but she did not know what.

Echo blinked and when she looked down, she saw Ethan's body. Ethan moaned. "Hold on Ethan!" Echo said, scared. She then looked around, trying to find a load of cobwebs. She couldn't see some, but admired the beautiful lush greenery. It was well hidden beneath the trees.

Finally, Echo spotted a large lump of cobwebs. She ran over to it, grabbing all of it. It felt very sticky, yet sturdy. "Prepare for pain." Echo told Ethan. "This already is pain!" Ethan wailed, tearing up slightly. Echo felt a strong wave of sympathy for him. "Just... Be ready." Echo said as she was settling herself next to Ethan's leg. Echo felt regret for doing this, but at the end, it would make Ethan feel much better. And this would make her feel much better.

Echo grabbed onto Ethan's broken leg. All of the sudden, light surged outwards from her hands. Echo jerked the leg and Ethan screamed out for a second but stopped, seeming to be calmed down. She then added cobwebs around his broken leg, making sure it was in place before it could go out of place again.

"Thank you so much, Echo." Ethan said, sighing happily. "You're welcome." Echo gave him a quick hug and let go, allowing him to rest while she went to find moss. "If you need me, call for me!" Echo told him before she dashed away to find moss. Then the next second, she found a large amount of moss for Ethan. "Wait... It's enough for both of us!" Echo exclaimed happily.

She stopped and stayed still for a moment. "It's so beautiful here.." Echo whispered and the leaves rustled in response to her statement. "I wonder if we could live here." Echo then suddenly jumped and ran to Ethan. He was awake, staring at the place. "Can we live here?" They both said at the same time. Ethan and Echo gasped at each other. "Yes!" They said happily.

It's been a few hours after the two of them agreed to live in this forest. "A home... Finally.." Echo smiled. "This cottage is perfect. Just for the two of us." Ethan said and went shoulder to shoulder with her. "Alright. I'm going to go fishing and you can start collecting the berries and make the stew..." Echo said to Ethan. "Wait wh- Ok." Ethan nodded and took the pan out. He heard Eclipse leave. "Alright... Now for some water." Ethan grabbed a vase. He went outside and carried the vase, being careful not to drop it. Ethan also had a little pouch with him. He would store the berries and leaves into there.

Once Ethan reached the lake, he saw Echo's body and stayed silent, sneaking up to her. He wanted to scare her. "Nice try Ethan. It's not working. Do you want to switch places?" Echo asked him. "Yes please!" Ethan said. "Here." Echo stood up and giggled. "Thank you!" Ethan took Echo's place and Echo ran back to the vase. "Here!" Echo stopped and caught the pouch that Ethan threw to her. She made a peace sign and dashed off, collecting the water.

"Good! Now for the berries and leaves." Echo took the vase and went back beneath the forest trees. Grrr... Echo stopped and froze. She then heard the rustles of bushes. "Ahh!" Echo leaped for the trees and sat on the tree branch, holding the vase closely to her body. A bear popped out of nowhere and hit her tree, shaking it rapidly from side to side. Echo growled and her pupils turned smaller and rather red. The rest of her eyes turned black. "Stop!" Echo tied the vase to the tree and summoned her Sythe. She then slashed at the bears' neck, allowing the blood to ooze. The bear grunted and twitched on the ground. It roared furiously at her but she didn't flinch. Echo dodged a blow from the bear and ran up to it, stabbing her Sythe into it's head. The bear's large body thumped on the ground and made a loud sound.

"Echo!" Echo heard a loud shriek. "Are you ok?!" Ethan came up to her, panting and full of worry. "I'm quite fine. I think we have a big dinner now though." Echo pointed to the limp body of the bear. "Oh. That's good. And thank god you're ok!" Ethan hugged her tightly and she slightly blushed. She hugged him back. Soon, they let go. "Let's carry this back home." Ethan said and Echo nodded. The two of them used their magic together to carry the bears' limp body.

Once they made it home to their cozy cottage, they started to shave the fur off the bear and cut the bear, preparing to cook it. Echo was making a fire. Once the fire started, she put sticks near the rocks and a flat sheet of rock for the meat to cook. "I... Got.. it!" Ethan laughed and gave her some meat on a leaf.

"Thank you." Echo took the leave and the meat, settling each piece apart. She then added more twigs in the fire and blew on it slightly. The fire grew much higher than the stones placed onto it and the meat was being cooked.

"Ah! Where's a leaf plate?" Echo asked Ethan. "H-Here." Ethan handed her a large leaf. It was smooth and very glossy. She added a few pieces of meat carefully from the fire. The meat looked deliciously cooked and she handed it to Ethan. "Thank you!" Ethan said and took the plate happily. "Here." Ethan handed her another leaf. "Thank you!" She took it and started to add her own meat onto the plate. She was cutting up more meat from the bear but was also eating the meat pieces that were cooked. "We're going to have a great life here, Ethan."
