Chapter 1

"Arhc , digintu, out a." I wispeared to myself as I read over the spell, suddenly the bell rang.

Let me introduce myself,
I'm Michaela Mahal , I'm 17 years old, blonde hair and green eyes with specks of purple, I'm about 5'5.
Did I mention I might be a witch.
Lets go back a few years,

I was 10 years old and my foster Mom decided to take me to the book shop.
I was walking, being a curious 10year old as I was, I walked into a room that had boxes and a old lady sitting in the middle of the room.
I walked up to the old lady and asked for a book, she said she has been waiting for me and she gave me a hard cover book.
She said always to carry it around and to learn from it.
After that day I learned that after I said the words from the book things would happen, also that after I learn a spell, a new spell appears in the book.

So hear I am walking, trying to figure out the new spell that appeared in the book, it was a spell to make plants grow, but I couldn't get the words wright.
"Arhc , digintu, out a."
Nothing
"Arhc , digintu, out a."

I kept reporting it and not paying attention to where I walk.
"Arhc , digintu, out a."
I hadn't realized that I had put a spell on a dead vine untill it was growing in front of my, I did a little happy dance.
"Yes, I rock." I said
The vine started moving in a direction and I relised it wanted to show my something.
I followed it untill I heard a growl.
I stoped dead in my tracks and looked for a place to hide.
When I looked from my hidding spot I saw a wolf, it was caught in the vines.
Why would the vines lead me to a wolf.
"Notanta, Nogetanta, Nomantrea, Nouita. " I said a quick reverse spell.

The vines stop and fell of the animal.
I quickly got up and started backing up slowly.
I heard a snap and relised that I stepped on a twig.
I looked up to see the wolf was standing in an attack way.
It gave of a warning growl and stepped forward. I automatically touched my necklace, I always touch it when I'm nerves or scared, it was a moon with two wolf's in the middle
My foster parents said that when I was left on their door the only thing I had was this necklace and a paper saying Michaela.

The wolf followed my movement and narrowed its eyes on my necklace, It gave a growl, turned around and ran.
I let out a breath that I didn't realise I was holding and walked until I found my way home.
Once I made it to the front door I had a felling that something was watching me, I turned around but nobody was there just the woods.
I must be imagining.
I say as I walk into the house.

I walk into the kitchen, imidiatly I am greeted by a mouth watering smell.
I see Nina - our cook - cooking away.
"Hi Nina, where are my parents. " I ask as I get a bottle of water out of the fridge.
"They went out to dinner with a client, Miss ." Nina says not looking up from the stove.
I was use to my parents not being here during the week.
My mom is a writer and my dad owns a law firm.
I usually only see them on weekends and hoilidays, other times it's just in the morning.
"Nina I told you not to call me 'Miss' when my parents aren't around."
"Sorry Michaela, I forget, when you are as old as me you tend to forget. " she says smiling at me.
"Now go do you're homework, I will call you when dinner is done." she says and waves her hand saying get out.

I walk upstairs and into my room, I drop my school bag and spell book on my table, I go sit by the window and look out to the woods, I couldn't get over the way the wolf looked at me.
It was a brown wolf with black spots and had brown eyes.
I find,wished my homework and went to bed, with the moon shining in my room.

I was sitting in the living room with a bunch of friends when my sister came bursting in the room, we all stopped to give her our full attention .
"Cal, I saw a girl in the woods that wears the necklace of the moon." she says in a rush, trying to catch her breath.
"What !?" I say as I stand up.
"Yeah, so I followed her home, and I do,t smell wolf's only humans. "
"Are you sure ?"
"I think so."
"Matthew, find out info on this girl." I ordered
