LUKE
I woke up and Emma wasn't in my bed with me anymore. I didn't expect her to stay though, she was shook up last night from the man basically trying to molest her and that's probably the only reason she stayed at my apartment. She told me she didn't want to be alone and I was happy that she picked me to not be alone with. It was the second time she has stayed at my apartment, but I wasn't complaining. It's nice having someone around and sleeping next to someone instead of sleeping alone every night.
The reason I was woken up at noon was the loud music blasting from Emma's apartment. More specifically, Dear Maria Count Me In by All Time Low. A classic throwback song. I groaned, rubbed my eyes, and rolled out of bed, not bothering to put a shirt on, before trudging over to her apartment to tell her to turn her ignorantly loud music down. I pounded loudly on her door, but there was no answer. She probably couldn't hear me due to the loud music, so I pulled my phone out of my sweatpants pocket and texted her.
Me: I'm outside of your apartment open ur door
Two minutes later, the door swung open and Emma was standing in front of me. She was dressed in only a pair of my boxers she stole from me a few days ago, a lace bralette, and a pair of socks with cats on them. Her hair was in a messy bun on the top of her head and she smiled widely at me. I tried to, but couldn't stop staring at her half naked body. Her stomach was flat and the piercing she had in her belly button was, in simple terms, sexy. The perfect amount of cleavage was spilling out of her bra type thing and I had to bit my lip and tear my eyes away from her chest area. "Luke! What brings you here?" She had turned the music down, so it wasn't as loud, but I could still clearly hear the All Time Low song playing.
"Well your music woke me up," I rubbed my eyes. "And you told me that every time you're blasting music throughout your apartment, you're usually upset. So I just wanted to check on you and make sure you were okay since, you know, what happened last night and everything.."
Emma's lips turned up at the corners and she bit her lip. "I'm okay. Actually I'm better than okay! I'm amazing right now. I'm just cleaning my apartment right now and I can only clean when there's loud music. So, I'm not upset, but thank you much for checking one me."
"Okay. Well, I'll just go now," I turned around and started to walk away, but she grabbed my wrist and stopped me from walking any further. I turned around to face her, seeing she had a smile on her face.
"No, stay! Come inside and help me clean!" Emma laughed and tugged me inside of her apartment. I rolled my eyes, knowing that there was no way in hell I was going to help her clean. She turned the music down a few notches so we could hold a conversation, but could still listen to music at a respectful volume.
"I'm not helping you clean," I followed her into her bedroom and plopped down on her bed while she went straight to her closet to continue cleaning. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her and her perfect body. I was so happy that we finally met and are becoming good friends as the days pass. But the bad thing was that I think I was developing feelings for her that are bigger than 'just friend' feelings and I don't know if she feels the same way. I doubt she did, I mean she just got out of a relationship, and I'm me and she's her. Why would she ever feel the same way about me that I do about her?
"Whatever," Emma sing songed and started folding and hanging clothes that were covering her bedroom floor and the floor of her closet. It occurred to me that she was wearing barely any clothes and it surprised me that she didn't throw a shirt on the moment she saw me.
"Aren't you uncomfortable being half naked around me?" I blurted out.
She turned around with a raised eyebrow. "No? Not at all. Why? Are you uncomfortable with me being half naked?"
