The first day

Brianna's P.O.V

It started out like any other day. I woke up knowing I had to go to a whole new school. I had just moved from Chicago to New York.

" I'm a 10th grader who had to leave all her friends to move to this stupid house and go to this stupid school." I though to myself.

I got dress in a black and white stripped Adidas sweat shirt, camo short, and white high top converses. I brushed my teeth and put on glasses. I walked to the living room where my dad was passed out drunk, as usual. My mom was gone haven't seen her sense I was five. I got my backpack and went to school hoping it would be over fast.

Maya's P.O.V

So I picked up Riley like I do every morning. When I got there her dad told me their was going to be a new student in our grade.

" I hope she or he is really nice!" Riley said

" Me too Riles"

So when we got to school we went straight to Mr. Matthews class. When we sat down me and Riley talked for a bit and then the bell rang. And when Mr. M started to talk a girl walked in.

"Miss Knight, your late."

" Sorry I got turned around"

She said with a knida of an accent. She wasn't from New York I can tell you that. She kinda tall maybe 6ft, tanner skin. She looked like she could beat anyone up that looked at her the wrong way.

" Well miss um... sorry, what's you first name?"

"Brianna"

" Oh, well Brianna would you like to tell the class about you self?'

"oh..um i'm from Chicago and i'm 15." she said eager to sit down." um, can I sit down now?"

"sure"

As she walked past I couldn't help but notice to tattoo on her neck. I couldn't really make it ou be it looked cool.

Brianna P.O.V

So my first day back went pretty good, their was this cute blonde that was in most of my classes. I really wanted to talk to her but I wimped out and stop and walked away. So when I was walking home back home I decided to look around a little more before going straight home, bad idea.When I got back my dad had started drinking (but really he never stops).

"Where were you?" he said almost falling over trying to face me.

" I went for a walk I didn't think it be a big deal"

" don't think your an idiot remember" he said pointing to me head

" yes sir."

" Just like you retarded brother"

" At least he got away" I said under my breath

" What you say to me"

"Nothing" I screamed but I tried to run but he grabs me be for I can get away. He throws me to the ground making me hit my eye on the coffee table. And then he kicked me it the stomach. The he picked me put and said something to me that made me want to cry.

" That why your brothers dead" he said with no hurt saying it. H e dropped me an wen back to watching T.V. I went to the bathroom to see to damage done. I had a black eye and a busted lip.

" What will the story be this time" I sigh as I wiped a tear away.
