Brianna's P.O.V
Today's the day I meet Maya's mom. We have Been dating for a while now and I finally got the courage to do it. I was so nervous that I could feel my stomach in knots, I woke up thinking of the worst scenarios possible. Maybe she could see my tattoos and not like me, she could be homophobic and not let me and Maya be together. We were supposed to meet for lunch, so I got ready at like four in the morning. I was more nervous to meet her mother then I was her. Changed my outfit four Times, I couldn't decide what is wear, a long sleeve shirt or shorts sleeve shirt, trying to figure out these things is kind of hard when you're freaking out inside worrying about what's going to happen. At 11:30 I got a text from Maya telling me where to meet her and her mother. It was a place called Rinaldo's. On my way out I saw my father... Oh great.
"where you going all dressed up." He said not as drunk as he usually was so I'm guessing he sobered up a bit.
"Out with a friend" I said shortly trying to move out of the door. I got away in time, so he couldn't question me. I typed in the address on my phone and started to follow direction. My stomach was still in knots not knowing what's going to happen. I walk up to the place called Rinaldo's and see Maya and her mother. I fix myself so I look presentable and walk over to the table.
When Maya sees me she stands up and comes over and hugs me. As she did that she whispered something into my ear.
"You look nervous babe" she said smiling.
" Meeting parents is not an Ideal choose of mine" I said. She giggled,man I love that giggle. She grabbed my hand and walked over to the table.
"Mom this is Brianna" she said holding my hand tighter. However I was stiff as a board and waved.
"Hello Mrs. Hart so nice to meet you" I said showing my hand waiting for her to take it. She look at my hand, stood. Up and pushed it away. I look at her very confused but then she smiled and gave me a hug.
" Maya tells me so much about you"She said still in the hug. I look over at Maya who had her head in her hand and I laughed a little." Your so tall" she said stepping back to look at me.

"Yeah I get told that a lot" I said with a huge smile on my face.
" mom I think she knows she's tall" Maya said trying to Signal her mom to calm down.
" Well, I told her again. Come on let's eat Im starving." She said pulling me to sit down next to her. I could tell Maya was embarrassed. We stayed there for about an hour. Her mom asked me all kinds of questions. Maya butting in every once in a while to say something. In the middle of lunch I Felt Maya's hand on my leg. I looked at her with a confused face. She was trying to tell me to go to the bathroom with her. So I excuse myself and went to the bathroom and maya followed.
"So, how do you think it's going" she ask me.
"I don't know I don't think I'm ready to date you and your mom." I said jokingly. She playful hit my arm. I put my hands on her waist.
"I think it's going great how bout you?" I said leaning in close to her face.
" That's good and I think it's going really great."She said putting her hand on my mouth.
" come on just one kiss and I'll leave you alone" I said pulling her closer.
"Ok,fine"
She moved in closer and we started kissing. And a little kiss turned into a make out session, and I guess we were in the bathroom form a long time because her mom came to get us. As soon as she walked in I pulled away and pretend to wash my hands,And Maya looked confused for a second and then saw her mother and follow suit.
"I know you guys weren't here washing your hands this whole time so you can drop the act" she said with a grin on her face.
Maya and I just looked at each other and smiled. After that we went back out to the table paid the bill. Maya's mom let us walk home and she took the car. When we walked home All we did was talk about the events that happened. Maya didn't want the day to be wasted so I took her out for ice cream. After that I took her home.
"So how was your day today." I said as we stop at her door.
"It was pretty darn good" she said putting her arms around me pulling me closer.
"Good" I said kissing her forehead.
"I think you could make it better tho"she said looking up at me.
" How?"
"This"
As she said that I kissed her, we kissed for like 5 minutes and then she pulled away.
"Yep made it a million time better" she said as she gave me one more peak the leaned away.
"Same"
"So see you Monday" Maya said
"Monday"
She turned around and open the door walked in. Before she could walk in I grab your hand and pulled her in for one more kiss. "Smooth" she said as she pulled away.
"Goodnight Brianna"
"Goodnight Maya"
As she said that she closed the door. I walked home not being able to wait to see her again.
