The Date

Brianna's P.O.V

"She just kissed me... she just kissed me." Is all I could say. I was so excited that's all I could think about. I walk into my house still in a daze, when I felt a hand around my neck.

"Where were you!" My dad said who was obviously drunk.

"I was at a friends house." I said pushing him away. I can't stand beer breath.

He grabbed me and slammed me to the wall. I hit my head enough to feel it. His words were slow and I couldn't under stand them. When he finally let me go I stood up and slow walked to my room, not knowing what he just said. I looked at the mirror and it was blurred. The last thing I remember is I fell on my bed and passed out.

I woke up the next morning with an headache.  My Mood compete changed when I remembered what happened last night and that to day was the day. I got up and got ready for school and I tried to be very quiet to not wake my dad. I had on a pair of Air Force Ones, Nike sweat shirt, and khaki shorts. On my way to school I saw Maya walking and I thought I'd do something cute. So I grabbed a rose from a cart and walk next to her like I didn't see her but I made sure she saw me. Once she noticed it was me, without a word she took my hand. And when she looked at me, I gave her the rose.

"And this is for?" she said smiling and smelling it.

" For being so beautiful today."

"Smooth" she said and I laugh.

We walked to school hand in hand. We got there Maya stop and looked horrified.

"What happened!?" I said scared.

" I forgot to pick up Riley." she said with her head in her hands. I didn't know what it meant but I guess it was a big deal.

We both looked at each other and I could tell maya was worried. When we walk in, still held each others hands we saw Riley by the lockers. Maya dropped my hand and walk over and hugged her and they were talking, then Maya pointed at me. I came over and Riley grabbed my sweat shirt and told me..

"I waited for 20 mins, never again." She said getting in my face. By her guess saying that I knew just what she meant.

"Yes ma'am" I said acting like I was scared. We all laughed and went to class.

After school I told Maya to be ready at 8:00 and I would come get her. And to wear something nice I hope everything goes perfect.

Maya's P.O.V

Brianna told me to wear a nice dress. So I picked out a floral dress and a white Shaw to go over it with black pumps. I was so nerves I could feel my stomach eat itself. Then I hear a knock on the door. When I go to open it I see Brianna standing there with a bunch of roses. She was navy blue jacket,white dress shirt and black dress pants. She wasn't face the door. When she turned around she kinda look like she just saw a Greek goddess.

" Do I look ok." I said hoping I wasn't down dressed.

"You..look...amazing." she said that and I turned a shade darker.

" Thank you, you look great too."

" But not as good as you." she said grabbing my hand and kissing it

"shall we" I said blushing

"We shall" She gave me the roses and we started walking.

She took me to a roof top. There was a white screen and a table with candles and flowers. It was beautiful.

"I thought we could eat and watch a movie" She said rubbing the back of her neck.

" Sounds perfect." I looked up at her and smiled. And she smiled back with a prefect smile.

We ate dinner and talked for hours and I feel like I could talk for nine more. When we were finished eating she took my hand and put the movie on. "The Goonies", I love that movie how did she know. Riley....I love that girl so much. And after then movie our night sadly came to an end. Then we started to walk home. I was cold so I had Brianna's jacket and she had her arm around me while we were walking. I felt ..safe. We stopped at my apartment door then she turned to me.

" So did you have a good night?" She said leaning on the wall.

" The best"

"Good I put a lot of work into it" she said in a joking but serious way.

" Just think that hard work will get you somewhere" I said moving closer.

"and where is that" she said moving closer to me.

"This"

I wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed her passionately. Brianna was the best kisser I have kissed. I've only kissed a few people but she was the best . I pulled her to deepen the kiss, when I did she started moving her hand lower and lower. I mean I liked it but it was to early, so I pulled away.

"That's all I get" she said and chuckled.

"Yep" I said in a playfully way.

" one more kiss for the road" she said leaning forward

I gave her a peck on the lips and went inside quickly. I hear her from the hall way. "That's getting old but it still cute" I laugh and walk to my room and started texting Brianna.

Maya: I had fun tonight.

Brianna: im glad I had fun to even the end I like that part the best.

Maya: Me too.

Brianna: I could always turn around

Maya: go home! I really had fun tonight.

Brianna: me too I hope we can do this again

Maya: same well I'm really tired to I'm gonna go goodnight ♥️

Brianna: goodnite ♥️

I put my phone down and layed down thinking I had a really good day, first in a long time.
