Zayn's pov

"I knew she was going to end up pregnant. You guys fuck to much for this to not happen." Louis said earning an eye roll from Liam and a middle finger from me.

"Go see if Harry needs help with the grill." Liam nudged Louis and pointed in the direction of the curly haired boy who looked like he was having trouble.

"So... Parents, huh?" Liam asked once Louis was out of earshot.

I nodded and took a sip of my beer.

"Are you scared?" He asked, concern evident on his face.

Why did everyone keep on asking me that? Am I supposed to be scared?

"At first I was, yeah but then I thought about it. I love Tonnianne, she loves me what else do we need?"

"Money. Children are expensive, ya' know." Liam said giving me a pointed look.

"We're financially stable, Liam thanks." I rolled my eyes at him and looked over at Tony Ann, who was conversing with some of her girl friends from high school.

"Why do we even have to come to these things?" I turned towards Liam. "It's only been 5 years since we graduated."

"You see that's how it goes. There'll be another one in 10 years then another in 15 then another in 20 and so on and so on."

"I don't care about anyone here honestly."

They say high school is either the best four years of your like or the worst, for me it was somewhere in between. The highlight of my high school experience was art class and meeting Tony Ann (which really wasn't until the end of high school so it doesn't count.) On the other hand it was probably paradise for Liam, from homecoming and prom king to star player on the football team to school president, he was everything you wanted to be.

"I don't know." He shrugged. "I kind of miss it."

"Of course you do." I rolled my eyes in which Liam returned with the finger.

"Baby mama at 8 o'clock." Liam said and nodded his head to the left.

I turned my head and saw Tony Ann approaching our table. She was wearing a white sundress and her hair was braided into a low bun. She walked with such elegance and grace it was like an angel descending from heaven above.

"Hey, babe." She sat in my lap and smiled at me before turning to Liam. "He, Li." He waved curtly at her before excusing himself and joining Niall by the cooler.

"How's catching up with everyone going?" I asked wrapping my arms around her torso. It still felt relatively flat to me but I knew that was bound to change - not that I minded of course.

"It's quite boring if I'm honest. It's the same questions over and over again. How are you and Zayn? How was college? Where are you working at now? It's like they all have a script they're reading off of or something." She shook her head and reached for her glass of lemonade next to my beer.

"Did you tell anyone about ya' know?" I nodded to her stomach.

"It's not taboo to say the word, Zayn. Baby, our baby. And to answer your question, no. I didn't tell anyone yet."

I raised my hands up in surrender. Mood swings were to be expected. At least that was what I read in a pamphlet while we were in the doctors waiting room the other day.

"This may feel a bit cold." Dr. McDonald said as he squirted some clear jelly onto Tony Ann's stomach.

He moved what looked like a weird shaped microphone around on her stomach until a small bean shaped thing appeared on screen.
