The Hermes cabin may have been cramped and a little run down, but it was cozy. Except for the fact that I had to sleep on the floor and that Connor and Travis decided to constantly remind me to make sure I had all of my belongings by the end of the day. However, I was more than ready to be claimed and set free of the anxiety that came along with playing guest in the Hermes Cabin.
I haven't seen Nico in a while and I'm getting a little worried. He wasn't at breakfast, which was delicious might I add, and he currently was not attending the sword fighting lesson that we shared. "Hey Percy, Do you know why Nico hasn't been around lately?" I asked.
"My guess is that hes either cooped up in that dark Hades cabin, or on some weird business for his dad. He always seems to be busy." Percy pondered, bringing his sword-less hand up to stroke invisible facial hair.
Sighing, I weakly slashed the straw dummy with my knife. When that boy gets back, I swear to Zeus hes gonna get a lecture.
Later that day, at dinner, I dark shadow had appeared in the corner of the pavilion. The odd thing was, was that it seemed to be moving. I had a feeling that was that certain Son of Hades that been missing for a few days. No one seemed to worry about him either. It was as if this was a common occurrence, which I wouldn't doubt that it is, to be honest.
Suddenly, Nico came briskly walking out of his shadow and toward the cabins, avoiding eye contact with everyone. Deciding that I was to pester him about this tomorrow, I continued eating my pizza, and thought about how uncomfortable the Hermes cabin's floors are.
You know, it would be cool if you could shine a pretty light and maybe claim me in the near future. Being squashed in between two babbling brunettes isn't necessarily my version of fun.
"So Camellia,"
"How are you enjoying Camp Half-Blood, so far?" The Stolls asked.
"I like it. It's a bit strange, but I'll get used to it. I just wish I would get claimed.
And speak of the fucking devil.
