Zayn slides the door open and grins when he sees his husband and his nine month old son in the pool. His chest flutters at the sight of Liam and Asher's hair wet and sticking to their forehead.

He listens to his son's little giggles coming out every time Liam twirls them in a circle, with the water splashing in their faces.

Zayn takes a seat on the lounge chair and watches his two favorite boys in the pool. He doesn't say a word, but it only takes less than thirty seconds for Liam to see him and face his direction.

"Mama mama mama."

Zayn ignores Liam's smirk and instead focuses on his little boy who's smiling at him. The raven-haired man gets off of the lounge chair before walking to the edge of the pool and taking a seat, his bare feet hitting the water.

"My little booger's having a fun time in the pool, aren't you?" Zayn coos, running his fingers softly through his son's wet curls.

"No!" Asher squeals, smiling wide when he sees Zayn's own smile grow.

Zayn finds it so amusing how his son only knows four words: mama, dada, papa and no. He loves seeing how confident his son yells out no, even if he really means yes.

He babbles a lot, and Zayn always thinks that between all the babbles his son says a new word each time, which always amuses his husband because Liam always thinks there nothing more than just gurgled babbles.

"You're a cutie pie." Zayn bops his son on his nose and turns his head a bit to look at Liam who's smiling softly at the exchange.
