The lunch bell rings and i walk away from my PDHPE class, .which is surprisingly one of my favorite classes. i lumber across the quad to my usual seat, my dark brown, naturally blond streaked hair waves behind me in a high pony tail. I drop down into the bench seat next to my best and only friend Mina, we have been friends since year 7 so being in year 9 we've only known each other 2 years but both coming from smaller country schools, compared to the rest of our year, we became friends easily. I blow out a puff of air, expressing some of my daily school stress, "tell me bout it." mina answers my action, understanding what i mean. "I seriously think they should just cut exams out of the entire school curriculum, and if not like seriously spread then out people!" i i shake my head at Mina's outburst while suppressing a laugh. " just think only 2 days left of exam week and what like 3 or 4 subjects left so thats not too bad," i give her a sarcastic reassuring statement, all i get in return is a disapproving look, and poke my tongue out at her giving her a funny face back, them making us both laugh out loud.
Our depressing exam thoughts are discerned by an amazingly fake and extremely anointing laugh, belonging to the one, the only, Tahlia Young. You know how there is this special breed of girl that seem to be perfect in every way except in every way, well Tahlia is that girl. She is gorgeous yet pityingly stupid, she has blond highlights in her light brown hair so bright that you would be able to see them from Pluto. And the number one thing on her mind, boys. She has this way to get nearly every boy in school to drool over her, and even more, all the girls to envy her. She has caused countless break ups just from one single deadly word. Back to the point, the laugh escaping tahlias mouth was directed at Jesse, mr popular at grove hills high. He seemed so happy, so perfect, so,,, Jesse. In the same way Tahlia had all the boys, Jesse has all the girls.
