"Brodie, BRODIE!" I snap out of my daze as Nina clicks her fingers aggressively in front of my eyes, "uh yea, ok, what?" I try to shake out my fuzzy thoughts and push my brain to complete my sentence. "You zoned out on me girl." Mina asks sassily brining me back to the present time. " ohh sorry, ok well anyway what were we saying?" I try to refocus on the topic at hand, "well we were both just happily complaining about exams when Tahlia laughed and then all of a sudden, woosh, Brodie has gone into dream land!" Nina exclaims with a special sarcastic twist to her words. I laugh at her exaggerating, "sorry, I(A/N- I would just like to say, I totally forgot about writing this story, and why I finished there idk but I am now continuing(hopefully for a while)) think the exams are taking a toll on my mental state." I reply, still only half concentrating. "Ohhhhh, I see what's wrong... YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT JESSE!!! JESSE AND BRODIE SITTI-" I clamp my hand on her mouth to stop any more loud, unneeded, words from escaping her pie hole, "I cannot believe you." I whisper yell back at her, trying not to gain anymore attention, already seeing the few heads that were turned out way. I hear a muffled 'what' coming from Nina and turn to face her again, just I time to feel her lick my hand, "Ewwww, have you spit back, I've got plenty of my own and I really, REALLY, don't want yours." I glare at my friend while she giggles evilly to herself. I shake my head, smiling slightly at my idiotic friend. "Uggghh.." Nina and I groan in sync as the bell for end of lunch rings, we pack up our things, slowly, both
dreading what we had next, "goodbye good friend, I will see you in the after life!" Nina yells at me as we walk away from each other to our classes, "maybe the torchere will only be short, and we will be welcomed into deaths arms..." I reply, adding a little dramatic moment to get the point through. We both turn around, seeing as we were across the quad from each other, but I knew we were both laughing at our daily routine before we had maths. Yep that's right, MATHS, Mental Abuse To Highschool Students. But surprisingly, I liked it, and hated it, I had a love hate relationship with maths, and I wasn't THAT bad at it either. Nina on the other hand, she despised maths with all her heart, she was, to say the least, HORRIBLE, at maths. It was nearly like she didn't get numbers at all. I slightly laugh at the thoughts of my best friend, she was great, she had helped me through so much, and I had helped her. It was just us- no boys, no drama, no annoying third friend. It was perfect- shoot, I look around trying to find wood, but instead I smack my face into the door frame of my class room, attracting way too much attention and a few held in laughs. I speed walk to my desk, but hey, I guess I touched wood, sure it was with my face and it hurt like a fruitcake, but I had successfully not jinxed myself... I hope
