When we reached the hospital I dashed to the room the receptionist gave us. I ran to the door just in time to hear the deadline.

Beeeeeeeeeeep

No....no......no. I ran out of the room and looked for Kevin. He came up and hugged me. I burst into tears. My moms dead. Kevin carried me to the seats and sat with me. He whispered calm thoughts to me. She's dead...... I know she treated me like crap but I still loved her. In a weird way. The doctor came out and gave me a sorrowful look. That made me cry even more. Kevin held me into his chest. I cried harder and harder every time I thought about it. I felt Kevin get up in result I lifted my head up. He stretched out his hands and i went to hug him. Before I knew it my legs were wrapped around his waist and my arms around his neck. I saw them wheel my mom out and I began to cry again. I can't even believe she was dead. After that I was placed in the back but I wanted him to be next to him. At the same time my dad came out the hospital. Kevin ran up to him and started talking then my dad started to walk to our car with Kevin.

"Hey pumpkin"

"Hi -sniffle- dad"

"I'm gonna drive so Kevin can be next to you"

"OK"

"She's in a better place now"

"I know..." I started to cry again

Kevin slid in and pulled me next to him. I climbed on his lap and buried my face in the crook of his neck. I heard the engine and felt the car move. I calmed down a bit but I was still sniffling and I was cold. Kevin must have sensed this because he pulled a comfy sheet over my body. He leaned me up and pulled off his shirt making my dad clear his throat. I giggled at the silliness of my dad. He looked through the mirror at me and smiled. Kevin leaned be back down and I instanly felt warm. He pulled off my shoes allowing me to curve up in his arms. And soon enough I drifted off to sleep...............
