I went on the hunt last year but did not get to shoot a bird because the dog just laid down on every single bird in the field. After another hard year of training the dog was thought to be ready to try again an you won't believe what a happened next he did not lay on birds but he did not do exactly what he was supposed to do. However his mom and sister are the best dogs I have ever seen. Point rush and retrieve flawlessly.
