We Are Going To A Party Bitch!

*Barking noise*

My calling ringtone went off. I sat up instantly and pushed my crazy hair out of my face. I picked up my phone on my nightstand and looked at the screen. It was my dad calling me. I looked at the time and saw it was 10:39am already. "Shit!" I jumped out of bed and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I tried to not sound like I just woke up.

"Hey honey just wanted to make sure that you were in school since I was taking Jo to school today. When we left you were still asleep and I called earlier and you weren't answering. Did you make it in on time?" he asked. I quickly grabbed my towel and started to head to the bathroom.

"Yea dad, sorry I was busy and I am in the bathroom now talking to you." I technically wasn't lying.

"Oh sorry honey well just checking up on ya, have a good day and don't forget to pick up Jo." He said and I told him I loved him and hung up. I quickly undressed and hoped in the shower. I took a quick shower and got out wrapping my towel around my body.

I walked over to my closet and honestly I didn't feel like wearing jeans so I grabbed some grey sweatpants and a light pink plain top. I got dressed and left my hair natural. I ran down stairs and into the kitchen to grab a granola bar. I walked towards the front door, grabbing my bag and keys on the way out.

I made it to school in 10 minutes which would've token me at least 20 minutes normal speed. As I parked my car my phone went off. I looked to see a text from Emmy.

From: Emmy

Where are you? I didn't see you this morning...

To: Emmy

Hey, I just made it to school :/ I over slept.

It was now 11:55am so that meant there was only 15 minutes till lunch. I turned off my car and rested my head back. I was just going to wait till class was over. In a way I was happy I woke up late; I didn't want to see Justin first period since I sat right next to him. I knew I couldn't avoid him all day but tonight was the party and I figured I could avoid him long enough till the end of the day.

As I looked out to the school I noticed people coming out and was heading to their cars. I put my hair up in a messy bun and stepped out my car. I walked through the doors and headed to the cafeteria. Once I was by the cafeteria doors I saw Emmy waiting.

"Hey girl! You know it's called an alarm!" she teased as she hugged me.

"Yeah, I don't know why it didn't go off but I'm here now!" We started walking inside and to the lunch line. I just got some yogurt and a Power aid for later.

We went to go sit at a table with Emmy's friends. I never met them so I felt kind of awkward. "Okay so Kasie this is Danny, Sophie, Will, Eric and Ashley." Emmy points to the 5 sitting down. "Guys, this is Kasie Lander! She is new to town." I wave and smile and the girls say hi while the guys all nod their heads towards me. We sit and I put my head down. I was still trying to avoid Justin and I didn't want him to spot me. "What are you doing Kase?" Emmy asks and I turn my head towards her.
