Janie POV:

Something was different about today. It wasn't loud, it was quiet. It's been this way for 5 months and I don't like it.

Ever since he moved away it's
been quiet. Johnson is literally heartbroken. Jack was his bestfriend. They were a team. I feel bad for Johnson. He won't get out and talk to anyone and he hardly posts on social media.

At least 100 people thought that Johnson died cause he wasn't on social media that much. And then when he goes on he sees pics of Gilinsky and he can hardly bring himself together.
To be honest all of this was Gilinskys fault.

Johnson's whole life was like literally flipped around when Jack left. I mean you can look at him and tell he ain't ate nothing in about a week. He's absolutely not gonna make it.

If Jack don't get back here Johnson is gonna die and nobody wants him to die.

I wish things could go back to normal where me and the boys would sing, skate and shoot hoops.

Omaha, Nebraska hasn't been the same since Jack Gilinsky left. People have changed just like Jack Johnson. Even I, Janie Tanner, have changed.

Maybe, just maybe, somehow I can get him to come back. It's going to be a lot of work but I'm pretty sure I can do it.
