Chapter 17

Janie POV

I just kept running and running. I wanted to be as far away from Jackson as possible.

I hate him so much! I'm glad he's going to college cause he will move into a dorm and I'll have the house.

I laid down in the grass under a tree in the woods and looked up at the sky. It was covered with stars. It reminded me of when I was little.

~FlashBack~
"Jack, Jack, come on let's catch fireflies!" I said running around.

We caught some and then laid down on the grass not caring if we was gonna get itchy.

"Look! That one looks like Jack Black mixed with Chuck Norris!" Jack G said. We laughed.

~FlashBack Over~

That night replayed over and over in my mind about a thousand times.

I got up and walked until I got to Jacks house. He gave me a key so I let myself in.

I decided i would crash in here tonight and then continue my way to L.A. tomorrow.

I went to his fridge and got some milk and drank it and I left him a note.

"Hey Jack it's me. If your reading this I'm probably in L.A. or on my way their.
Don't worry about me please. I'm taking some of your food with me.
Come and get me at the Hampton Inn when you find out when Jackson has his dorm.
If I don't make it give Madison everything in my bedroom and bathroom.
Give Skate my rap board (you know what I mean)
Give Jack G all my music stuff and I want you to have all my musical instruments. Yes, even my signed John Stamos guitar!
I love you and the gang very much! Btw I'm borrowing one of your hundreds of phone chargers.

I put the note on the table and made me some food cause I was starving.

I cleaned all the dishes up and them got ready to sleep. I grabbed 8 pairs of my sweat pants and a bunch of shirts I left here.

I put them in a bag, I got my 500 dollars out of the cookie jar and put it in there and put some underwear and some snacks and water bottles in it and laid down on the couch.

I snapchatted Madison.

"Hey Madison! I'm fine btw." I sent it. In about 10 minutes she opened it and then Facetimed me but I declined it.

She told me that everyone was worried about me. They wanted me to come back home. I wasn't gonna go with their little guilt trip cause I wasn't going back home.

It was final i was gonna go to L.A. and stay one night in the Hampton Inn and then stay at my friends house for a while.

Me and Madison talked for a little bit until I fell asleep.

Tomorrow holds another journey. A journey, maybe, just maybe off the map.
