Chapter nueve

After taking one last look at Martijn I make my way to my mom .
Who already was waiting inside the taxi .
"C'mon in lover girl " she says and winks .
I just smile and go to the other side of the car and open the door .
I check if all the bags have made their way perfectly intact.
After making sure of it I sit and shut the door and the taxi starts moving.
"You know the house is absolutely gorgeous you can see the huge field..." my mom starts describing but I don't pay much attention an just look at the afternoon light slowly sinking down .
I just sigh and think about all the things we've done just to be here in this moment .
My mom's 3 jobs , me working day and night in order to pass with a perfect GPA . And it actually turned out to be very good. I mean coming second in class isn't bad right?
I really wished dad was here . He would be praising me and telling me not to mess around with the boys .
I make a light chuckle.
"What are you chuckling about ? Thinking about your lover boy eh? "
My mom asks me with a cocky grin.
"Shut up ma! Obviously not " I smile and look away . I didn't want her to see me actually blushing .
"Ahh i know you are I can see you blush .Omg Sierra trainor has a crush! Taxi driver do you hear that my daughter finally likes someone!" My mom exclaims
"Well uh..congrats " the taxi driver replies back and lets out a light chuckle.
"Oh my god ! Mom what the hell!!? Why do you keep embarrassing me in front of people??" I ask her with frustration.
"Si I was just kidding . Chill" she says and pats my shoulders.
"Yeah okay" I say and look outside.
"Umm ma'am we've reached" I hear the taxi driver and look at the house we would be living in. Oh my god isn't this just gorgeous .
A huge white marble house with huge clear Windows, a porch , a balcony at the top , a beautiful luscious garden at the front ,
"OH MY GOD THIS IS SO FRIGGING BEAUTIFUL MOMM!!" I exclaim and pull out my phone and take a picture of the house .
"For your what rumblr? Or bumlr?"
"Tumblr mom" I say and roll my eyes
"Yeah same thing hun.." my mom says and starts walking ahead .
"Umm Julio right? " my mom asks the taxi driver . " yes ma'am ?" The taxi driver replies while taking the bags down .
"Will you please help Sierra to bring the bags back to house ?" My mom asks me and also commands me to help him instead.
"Yeah sure" he says and I just roll my eyes and go to help Julio or whatever his name is .
"Ugh this is heavy shit huh?" I ask him while picking up a huge pink duffle bad obviously my mom's.
"Well I can't complain. Ladies have their things right?right?." He says and starts walking in front of me .
"Yeah."
We walk into the house and holy Shit Isn't it huge .
"Woah.." I gasp and take in my surroundings .
"Can we just take a moment appreciate the fact that we're gonna live here for literally half of our lives.." I say this to my mom and smile "I KNOW RIGHT!!" My mom says and goes inside the kitchen .
"Hun can you pay Julio please." My mom asks me from the kitchen .
"Yeah okay.." I say and go to my bag which had my purse in it.
"How much ?" I ask him
"Well it is 200$ but a pretty girl like you would get a discount so you gotta pay 190$ ." He says and gives me a very flirtatious wink.
"Nonono its Kay I'll pay 200$ " I say and mentally gag .
"Oh thanks babe . Double profit ." He says and eyes me up and down .
"Can you leave . Thank you" I say and literally push him out.
"Babe we just star-" I interrupt him by shutting the door .
"Jerk." I mumble and I hope my mom did not hear or see any of the events that took place or she'd go mental.
"Mom I'm taking the room which has a balcony in it." I say and make my ways upstairs .
"Sure hun!" My mom says and switches on the tv. Yes the house was furnished.
I open the door to my new habitat .
Wow it was huge af. It had a queen sized bed, French door-ed balcony , a huge ass bathroom , a vanity desk , a huge dressing table , a LCD Tv and many other cool things .
I make my way towards the balcony and go outside .
The summer breeze meets my face and I feel like I already belong to this place. I can see my neighbours and the front yard through which we came through 10 mins ago .
I head back in and start planning how my room would look when I start decorating it with my own things.
"MOM WHEN WE GETTING OUR FURNITURE!!" I ask my mom .
"UMM TOMORROW OR SOMETHING!" "OH OKAY COOL!" I reply back and just look outside.
