Arrival

My father walked into my room. I hate when he does that.

"I know you see me father."

He chuckled and sat on my bed.

"Katriane darling, the truth no matter how unexpected and uncalled for, is truth nonetheless. "

I look at my father puzzled, as I try to figure out how his words fit into the current situation and why he came into my room in the first place. When all of the sudden his words interrupted my thoughts.

"Don't worry darling. There is nothing more to this visit than just a very bored father checking up on his daughter, and taking the opportunity to make this encounter less insignificant."

He kissed my forehead ever so lightly, as always and walked away.
My God, that was random. Although it was unexpected, it's not uncommon for him to do this. I know he gets really bored sometimes, roaming the earth for centuries, life must get really dull.

Anyways I look forward to eternity because I love life, and the only thing that would make life better is that if there was someone to share it with me. I'm a hopeless romantic by nature. Mhir is always on my case about that, she worries that my romantic nature will be the source of my downfall. Mhir, however irritating as she may get sometimes, she's not the type to be wrong, and although I agree, I think my will to live is stronger.

"I think I'm gonna join my father in his boredom and walk around."

I walked down to the main entrence and, did I just hear a knock on the door? Should I open the door? Yes. I power walk to the door in vain. Raziel reached the door first.
Of course, he has been eavesdropping on me. Again.
I threw him a look and he shrugged it off.
He opened the door and closed it again.

"Who was it?"

Raziel looked at me and I can tell he's wierded out.

"There's no one at the door."

Raziel and I stare at each other for a moment.

"Anyway, I'm going back up to my room and stop eavesdropping."

Raziel chuckled and walked away. I'm engaged to him since birth and I still can't get my mind to accept the fact that at some point I have to have sex with him in order to preserve the Ravene bloodline. I won't deny the fact that Raziel is sexy, but I just don't see myself with him that way.
Besides I think Rosalina likes him, and they would not look bad together. I entered my room and plopped myself on the bed when I hear a knock on my bedroom door.

"Ugh. Not again!"

I opened the door to find Mhir and two other people standing behind her, a blonde and tall pair. A boy and a girl.

"Hey Mhir, who are they?"

She gave me a look.

"What are you talking about? I just got here."

Then she realized.She turned around and the boy quickly put a hand over her mouth muffling her screams. The girl looks at me in the eyes and shushed me. The boy did the same to Mihr. Mhir quiets down and the boy let her go. She rushed to my side and asked them.

"What are you doing here?"

I look at her puzzled. A million questions running through my head. Did she knew them?

All of a sudden Rosalina and Raziel appeared behind them. Raziel was the next one to speak.

"I shoud've known."

Rosalina cuts him off.

"I thought you were all dead."

The boy looks at his partner, and they both look at me and smirk. The boy finaly speaks.

"My name is Darius and she is my twin sister Elena and we are what's left of the Adamo bloodline."
