THE REST OF IT
We've been living in London for a week now and yet no sign of Mary scolding us or Carrie being bitchy. Its a good thing though. Instead, Carrie and I have been really close like sisters. She showed us around London. We've been to malls, shops, restaurants, everywhere. The thing is we even went to see the Big Ben, the London Eye and all the wonderful places in the city. It was really tiring but it was worth it.
When we arrived home from the mall, Mary and Jerry are sitting in the couch with suitcases on the side of the couch of the living room. I guess they're going on a business trip. We sat at a couch in front of them.
"Mmm. Carrie, Caitlin, Coleen, Cherry.. We are going to California for a business trip.."
I KNEW IT! I thought.
"..and we're leaving tonight but don't worry, we left some money in the kitchen counter. We'll just leave for a week or two. " Mary said while worried was forming in her face.
"but mom - " Carrie was cutted off when Jerry was starting to explain.
" No need to worry, Carrie. If the money's not enough, just give us a call, okay?"
"..and I think, I mean, We thought you can handle yourselves.." Mary stated while pointing at Carrie and I.
"..but you need to promise us to take care of Coleen and Cherry and the most important thing, NO BOYS. Understand?" Mary stated strictly while Carrie and I nodded then they bid their goodbyes.
"You're used to it?" I asked but she seemed not surprised. She nodded.
"They're really busy people, sometimes they don't have any time for me." She replied.
"And you're okay with it?" Coleen asked.
"err, yeah. I'm used to it, and maybe you can get used to it too. soon. " Carrie replied.
"I don't know." Cherry seemed to be new with this thing, me too.
"Oh well," I said while going to the kitchen. "I'm cooking for tonight."
As I walked in the kitchen, I thought it would be nice if I cook Carbonara for tonight. I love Italian dishes. So, I prepared all the ingredients and all the things I needed. I hummed while cooking then I heard some footsteps coming then it came to a stop. When I turned around, it was Coleen.
"Caitlin," Coleen said while handling her empty plate to me.
"Mmmhmm?" I replied as I put some finished pasta into her plate.
"Are you really sure about this?" She's pointing her fork at me.
"About what?"
"About moving in here."
"Oh. I don't know."
"Well if you don't know, we can still move out of here while we can."
"What makes you think of that?" Pointing my fork at her.
"I don't know. My gut says that something bad will happen which I don't know what is it."
"Well, my gut says that its nothing."
"Oh really? Well, my gut says that it will creep you out." She laughed.
Then Carrie and Cherry came while running. Well, they looked really hungry.
