Stampy's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been a month since we left Insomnia54, and from when we talked- or rather fought with Squid. I didn't want to not talk to him, but there was NO way he wasn't gonna get the point I was- and still am making. Our series and channels were suffering badly, people were complaining why it wasn't getting updated, and we couldn't explain why. I know we're gonna make up one day, and I kept ranting to Sqaishey how he would come back, and he'll forgive me for hitting him.These ideas ran through my mind while I lied in bed. I looked beside me, to find Sqaishey wasn't there. I stretched and got up, looking at my sleep-rumpled Stampy cat pajamas. I walked into the master bathroom and fixed my hair so it was presentable, and into the living room to find Sqaishey playing Minecraft on my IPad.
"Morning, your an early bird today."
"That's so punny! They always did say the early bird catches the most prey." She giggled and looked at me sheepishly, "can we go to get Tea and Breakfast from the cafe on main street?"
"Do we really have to? I wanna laze around in Stampy PJs and record Sky Den."
"Yes, I don't feel like cooking, and you started a fire- from boiling water." Her eyes danced as she teased me, but she was hiding something, behind that sparkle, it killed me to find out what she has planned, excitement and fear.
I trudged back to the room and changed into a green t-shirt and jeans, throwing on my converse.
"Don't forget your wallet, your paying this time." Sqaishey's voice called, laughter in her voice.
She seemed so much lighter when she moved away from Shawn, like she could be herself, but the day we went to pack haunted my mind. We walked in and a waft of alcohol hit us, we had walked to her room and he was on the bed, snuggling what potentially was a naked woman. I quickly looked away, respecting Sqaishey, and grabbed the little boxes we brought and stuffed her dressers contents inside of it. Sqaishey wore a hard face and nearly kicked his ass out of her bed.
When we had nearly finished packing up the car, he had come outside and groveled at her feet, begging and pleading he would change.
Then I took matters upon myself to kick him where the sun doesn't shine, and I calmly, yet with a lethal tone to back off or he won't definitely be doing anything anymore, and since then he hasn't talked or tried to contact her since.
Sqaishey had send him a glare, with tears streaming down her face as she got in her car, which she had left home at Insomnia. I followed behind her, and she sped off, her car was pretty fast for a BMW 7-series, comparing to my Chevrolet Camaro. I had put my hand on her clenched one, and leaned to kiss her cheek. Her tears fell harder, and I understood why. She had just lost a friend as well as a crappy boyfriend. She cared and missed the old him. Even I, who hasn't known him, knew he was long gone. Sqaishey had started slowing down and went the normal speed limit, and I was still surprised no cops were following us.
I walked to my black and white Camaro, and got in, Sqaishey already waiting inside.
"About time," she grumbled half-heartedly, grinning. "You take as long as a girl."
"I had to put makeup on." I joked, not wanting her to know the thoughts in my mind.
" Nice, by the way, it accents your natural handsomeness." Her laugh was musical, cheerful, definitely not like when we first met.
Sqaishey put the car in reverse, and started driving to the homey diner. "FYI, we're meeting someone there." She glanced at me sheepishly while we stopped at the red light.
"Oh God, not again." I groaned inwardly, I had founded, a week after she moved in, Sqaishey has a knack for bringing people she knows or fans to places around and I hoped it wasn't a fan with all my heart. I didn't need to cause a scene where I get tackled by small children.
When she parked, when we got out, she pulled me into a hug. "I love you kitty-cake." A blush slightly formed on her cheeks, as she gazed up at me.
The blush sent me in a happy hazy place in my mind, and I wanted so bad to kiss her. I pressed my lips to hers eagerly, and after a second she pulled back, reminding me we were in a parking lot.
We still were getting to know each other and respected each others space, so nothing major has happened except for kissing and hugging. After all almost two months isn't that much of your lives.
"How long does it take to brew Chinese tea?" I say suddenly as we walk near the door.
"I don't know."
"Oolong time." Her and my laugh at the lame pun made me smile.
Sqaishey walked in and guided my to a table where a guy had his head in a menu. When I slid in, and Sqaishey slid in the booth, the guy lowered his menu to reveal his face.
I felt like I just seen a ghost, I was suddenly clammy and I wanted to go home. I was in fact staring at a ghost, a one I banned a month ago. And he's come back to haunt us. My walls went up as soon as they went down and I hugged Sqaishey closer, my insides screaming to grab Sqaishey and run.
I was pissed at Sqaishey but I knew why she did it.
"David."
"Please let me explain." He looked at me pleadingly, eyes begging to stay a while.
"No." My voice was cooled and echoed within the fàcade I was putting on. "Sqaishey, move."
She shook her head and a stubborn look crossed her face. She was so gonna get it after this.
"Fine, speak." I hissed, boiling with rage.
