Shay's pov:
We have been driving around for hours. We haven't seen the kids anywhere. I look to my left and I see my gorgeous ex wife staring out the window with a tear trickling down her cheek. I move my hand off the wheel and reach over and wipe her eye with my thumb. I then reached down and grabbed her hand and held it tight. I know we aren't together anymore but I can't stand to see her like this. She looked down at our hands and smiled at me. She squeezed my hand then looked back out the window.

Colette's Pov:
This reminded me of high school. Just me and shay in his truck holding hands and traveling around the Idaho mountains. When I look back out the window I see four small figures crossing the road. I thought they were bears at first but shay made it very clear that it was not bears.
"COLETTE!!"
My eyes finally adjusted and u saw my five babies dragging wagons and pushing a stroller. I opened the car door and before I could walk over one of the kids collapsed. It was hot as hades our here and I bet they aren't keeping hydrated. I run over and I see Emmi on the ground her eyes closed and her mouth is so dry. I scream to Shay but he doesn't answer. Then Shay runs over and poors water on Emmi then in her mouth. She doesn't wake up so Shay scoops her up and puts her in the backseat.
Carl's (Grandpatard) Pov:
I was just enjoying my day outside with Colby when my cell phone rings. I pick up the phone and it is Shay.
"Dad you need to drive up to ever dale road and pick up the kids and Colette."
"Ok Son where are you going?"
Shay told me that he was driving to the hospital with Emmi and that I needed to take my truck and pick the rest of the family up. I hung the phone up and hopped in the car. I drove to ever dale and got Colette,Gavin,Avia,Brock, and Daxton. Then we drove to the Idaho Falls Hospital. When we got there Emmi was hooked up to a bunch of wires and she looked so horrible.
Avis's Pov:
I looked at my baby sister hooked up to all those wires and I slowly walked over to her hospital bed. I pulled up a chair next to her and grabbed her hand. I started talking to her.
"Emmi, I know you can't hear me but I wanted to say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have made us leave dad and run away. You and Gavin were right. Emmi I just want you to know I love you so so much and I would never want something like this to happen to you. Emmi wake up please."
I shook her and nothing happened
"EMMI WAKE UP! PLEASE, I NEED YOU EMMI!!!"
I was now yelling and tears were streaming down my face. Then a loud beeping noise came from Emma's heart monitor. I screamed for the nurse, still holding Emmi's hand.
"EMMI!!!" I screamed as my dad pulled me out of the room and doctors surrounded my baby sister. This was all my fault.
