Forever Love

Shay's POV:
The doctor walked in and called mine and Colette's names. He pulled us out into the hallway.
"I have some good news and some bad news." Doctor Smith said.
Shit.
"Emmi is responding very well to our treatment but we still don't know what is wrong with her or what caused her heart to stop, all we know is it's not cancer."
I sigh of relic came from Colette's lips. The ones I have missed for so long.
Avia's POV:
Today was the day. I was finally going to confront dad about Danielle and her mom.
"Uhh Dad?"
"Yes Avia?"
It just blurted out of my mouth. "Are you and Danielle's mom dating because you seem like you are but then again, I see the way you look at mom and I can't help..I take a big gulp and swallow my tears. I can't help to se you with someone else. It hurts my heart and I know that you and mom's saying still matters to you. Remember dad? Forever love."
My dads eyes pierce into mine, and  I see the  sadness and regret plastered on his face.He wants are family back together. I want our family back together. The old times of football games and super market trips. Everything we did together was gone all because forever love was pushed to the side.

Shay's POV:
I can't believe my daughter just said that. She really snapped me into reality. I don't love Danielle's mom. I forever and always will love Colette but will she love me, after all I did to her? The endless nights of screaming and crying and fighting. Could she really be that strong? I decide to find out for myself. I walked into Emmi's room where Colette was watching her. Hey Colette, can I speak with you?
She walked over to me.
"Listen, I have made a huge mistake and I don't know if you will ever forgive me. You were the best thing in my life and I don't know what I would do without you. I love you Colette and I really need you."
Her eyes filled with tears.
