Elizabeth looked at herself in the mirror. She was now wearing a white dress with white tights white gloves and heels. Her curly brown hair was down and she wore her reading glasses. She decided to put her lab coat on.

Elizabeth took one last glance at herself in the bathroom mirror then she left the bathroom. As she walked into the control office, Elizabeth noticed a group of members huddled at a screen. Full of curiosity, Elizabeth joined the crowd.

Elizabeth looked at the screen. It was in one of the asylum's cages, but it was completely pitch black. Then, out of nowhere, the lights in the cage turned on. Elizabeth screamed and fell to the floor. Doc came in the room with the guards.

"What's going on?"

The screen answered his question. A dark bloody figure had written words on the walls with their own blood.

'HeLlo eLizABeTH'

Doc stared down at Elizabeth then back to the screen. He stared at the words then at the figure. The figure hid their face with their arms. Doc turned to the guards.

"Go to the cage and teach our psycho a lesson."

The guards nodded and ran out of the room. Doc turned to the other employees, "Go away! Leave! Get back to work! Now!" Doc turned to the control panel and turned the screen off just as the guards came in.

Elizabeth couldn't stop gasping for air. She was afraid, afraid of her job, afraid of this building, afraid of these psychos. Doc grabbed Elizabeth's arm and pulled her up while speaking, "Are you okay? Because you really shouldn't be afraid." Elizabeth stared at Doc in somewhat anger and confusion.

Doc pointed to the control panel while grabbing onto her shoulder, "As long as those controls are working, we're safe and alive."

"And if they're off", Elizabeth asked pushing Doc off her.

"Impossible", Doc responded, "Only you and I have control to the switches. They have our DNA."

"Wait me?"

"Yes dear", Doc said, "I trust you with the controls and switches."

"But I just started."

"Goodness girl, you should be thankful I even let you see the controls."

Elizabeth sighed, "Fine whatever. Now, what is my job anyway?"

"Ah hah", Doc said smiling as he pushed her in a room full of monitors, "I'm glad you asked. You sit here in the TV room and mark the completely insane number cells on this paper."

"Wait what?"

"Goodbye Ms. Elizabeth!"

The large doors slammed shut leaving Elizabeth alone in the room full of noise and insane psychos each on a separate screen. Elizabeth slowly looked at the sheet and every screen number.

421; Insane

398; Empty

532; Completely Psycho

Elizabeth looked at the word psycho. She then looked at screen 532. She felt bad for calling the women on the screen a psycho. She crossed out the all the words.

532; Needs attention

"Better", Elizabeth said out loud. She continued writing on the paper for another four hours then stopped and watched the screens as if they were movies. These people were fascinating to her.

For some reason, Elizabeth turned to a screen that was pitch black. She looked at the cell number, 01. Elizabeth recognize the room. She thought for awhile then let out a huge gasp. This was the room with the blood writing. Elizabeth shuddered yet continued to stare at the screen uncontrollably.

Suddenly, the doors opened behind her. It was Doc.

"Lunch break Ms. Elizabeth."

Elizabeth stood up and gave Doc the paper as she coldly left the room shuddering. She wanted to go home. She wanted to leave and never return. These poor people in cages locked for probably the rest of their lives. She wanted them free, but she was too afraid to do it. She could never do it. Never.
