The blast nearly shook my brain to liquid as the bullet ran past my earlobe, tearing skin along with it.
I stared in shock, as did no name. After gawking at me, he shoved the man, whom seemed thirty five, and punched him once."Get out of here!" No name shouted at the man, and broke the gun by slamming it on the ground multiple times.
The man fled as I cupped my ear and it came away with blood. Crap.
I glared at my red-stained hand and sat up."You alright? Your ear looks terrible."
Thanks.
"Whats your name?" I questioned out of the blue."Daimion... and who might you be, young miss?" Daimion asked as he held his hand out to me, which I took with my clean hand.
"Brooklyn." I stated.
"Now that we're done with introductions, we should get that ear cleaned up and take a look at it."Once inside the homey cabin, Daimion led us to the bathroom in which he kept his medical supplies.
As soon as we entered the bathroom, that's when my ear's pain made me cry, but not scream. I wanted to, but I thought it would've shown weakness to my new friend.
He cleaned it up with all sorts of bacterial cleansing liquids. Most of it stung, but I just clenched my teeth while salt water ran down my cheeks in a silent haze.
He looked back at me with the light reflecting his bright hazel eyes gleaming into mine. I looked up at his styled black hair and noticed the 'spiked' look worked very well on him, as it did not on most guys at my school.
He had a strong square jawline, as most of his other features seemed absolutely perfect.
"So it looks like a bit of your ear has been taken off from the bullet, but I think it defines you more." He smiled.
Is that a complement? I wondered.
He led me into the living room, holding my hand. He sat me down on a red couch that faced a tv and he walked into the open kitchen.
"Are you hungry?" He asked whilst peeking into the cool fridge.
"It is two o'clock... Can I have an apple?"
Everything seemed abnormally peaceful with myself falling asleep as I eat an apple, sit on a couch with Daimion's arm slung across my shoulders and my side leaning into him as we watched Grease, one of my favourites.
It was almost perfect. If only I knew the guy.
__..__..__
This girl is making me do everything that I told myself that I wouldn't do. She made me kill bystanders. She was the main plan and her idiotic behaviour prevented myself from commencing a careful scheme.
All her fault.
I needed to make sure she would never harm another soul with her ways.I took her away, far away from where we were last.
A deserted road. A quiet road... This shall do.I drag her out of the car and let her head snap on the hard and damp concrete, while I am angry at myself for accidentally letting myself feel an ounce of regret.
Now's not a time for a conscience, if anything, you should've came around ten years ago.
I sneer angrily at my mind as I set the girl in place.
Yes, this shall do nicely.
