The density and heat of all that matter packed inside a tiny space caused it to explode and expand. Supposedly the universe is still expanding today and the universe had gone through this cycle numerous, uncountable amounts of time

6. All of the planets within our solar system could fit in between the moon and planet Earth, with tons of miles to spare

7. Arcturus is a sun 16,000 times larger than the volume of our own sun. There are suns that are literally a billion times larger than Arcturus in this universe.

8. Our suns name is Sol this is probably why Solar starts with Sol just in case you were wondering. Since, yeah, you know, we get Solar energy from the sun who is Sol......Alright moving on

9. There's a planet made completely of ice that's on fire.

10. Humans have mapped less than 1% of the universe

11. There are planets that don't have a sun to rotate around and are therefore just hurtling around in space and doing there own thing. These planets are called Rogue or Loner Planets.
