So I was watching In A Nutshell which is a science sort of channel on Youtube. I was watching a video that had to do with Dark Matter and Dark Energy when it mentioned Entropy. Entropy is mostly a new word and idea for me so don't kill me if my ideas are all wrong. Anyways Entropy is basically the state of an object always trying to reach the highest state as in warming up. What I got from this video is that everything is always in a state of entropy, heres an example:
Let's say you have a smoothie, it's heat level is always going to rise. Sure, it can be placed in a freezer but eventually it's heat will rise when taken out of the freezer.
I don't know if that's a good example but here is my idea. So Global Warming is the planet warming up, what if this is our own planets act of entropy. I mean sure many of the reasons we have global warming is due to fossil fuel production but even without fossil fuels would the Earth's heat kept on rising? Was Global Warming even possible to avoid in the first place, I mean entropy is after all an object trying to reach the highest state?
Hmmm I don't know......we do have those periodic Ice Ages and those are like the freezer for our planet in a way. The Earth is a smoothie and the Ice Age is the Freezer. Speaking of the Ice Age we're way overdue for the next one.
