The letter and the mystery guy

Twins POV

I always stayed strong for the group, I was now the quiet one. I didn't talk that much, barely slept, and stayed on watched from night to day. Chloe says she worries about me, but each time I just say there's more to worry about than me. Today was different than all the other days, it went by slow like I was suppose to do something. I was doing a border check and saw a peice of paper under a tree. I picked it up and sat under the tree. It read:

Dear Twin,

I watch you from a distance from time to time. I'm not a stalker, its just that I think your really cute and can't get you off my mind. Every time I close my eyes your all I see. Seeing you gives me a reason to live. You make my heart beat again.

Wow, was all I could say. I mean its not every day that a guy confesses his love for you. Shit, its actually a 5% chance that this happens. Especially during the apocalypse. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote: Thanks for the compliments. And left it under the tree. I got up and finished the border check. I walked into the tree house and got tackled. We wrestled around until I finally pinned my attacker down. Chloe was struggling under my hold. Chloe, I screamed in surprise. I helped her up and grabbed two bottles of water from the mini fridge. Ceezy was laughing so hard she literally fell out her chair, which made us all laugh. Where were you, Chloe asked after we all got settled in. Border check, picked up a few things; I simply replied. Tomorrow we are going out for supplies, Ceezy said. Were running low already, I asked. No, but were about to; Chloe answered. Planning ahead, I asked. Yep, Chloe said popping the p. I knew I was in the right place, I whispered before going to sleep.

I yelled. Get ready we leave in twenty. What about you, Ceezy asked. I was up at one this morning, I replied. You need to get more sleep, Chloe suggested. So you guys can sleep more, I don't think so; I said. We all grabbed a duffle bag and headed to the Rosemary market. Chloe went to get medical supplies, Ceezy got weapons, and I got the food and drinks. I got three packets of water, microwavable foods, and junk food. When the bag was full I zipped it up and went to another isle. I grabbed coloring books, crayons, a notebook, some pencils, and a pack of markers. I put them in my Personal bag and walked to the front to wait for Chloe and Ceezy. Five minutes later they walked to the front. The bags looked like they were heavy, so I grabbed a cart. Thanks, they mumbled. No prob, I replied. I started to walk towards the clothing store. We got a few clothes. Then the usual, leather jackets, gloves, and boots. I got cowgirl boots, Ckloe got high hell boots, Ceezy got bicker boots. I don't know how but Chloe can run and even fight in high heels ( I got that part from my little sister. She can run in heels, she never takes them off, she wears them like they're the most comfortable shoes ever made). Let's head back, I suggested. Wait, Chloe said. Look, Ceezy pointed at a shelf full of candy. Put everything in the cart and grab one of those Halloween bags, I said. Why, Chloe asked. Who ever grabs the most candy is off of clean-up duty for a week, I shouted. We looked at each other, then ran after a bag. We pushed and shoved to get to the candy. When our first bag was full we grabbed another until the shelves were empty. I grabbed a sharpy marker and wrote my name on my bags, then passed it to Chloe and Ceezy, and they did the same. We put the bags at the bottom of the cart and walked out the store. I can't believe there was that much candy in a clothes store, Chloe said. We were all still catching our breath from the candy rush. Zombies are approaching from the west, Ceezy said her tone serious. Not now, I wanna eat cany, Chloe said in her baby voice. Protection stance, I shouted. This is operation protect our candy or operation P.O.C.. We all took out our bows and aimed for their heads. Your on my territory now, shit, when you stepped foot on earth you were on my territory, I thought as I took down as many zombies as I could. There swarming us, someone yelled. Take the supplies and candy and go to the underground place next to that mansion,Ceezy shouted. I'll hold them off, I said. But, Chloe started. That wasn't an offer, now go; I shouted. I put my back toward the nearest wall and took out a special arrow. I made it before the girls woke up a few days ago. I loaded it and fired it in the middle of the hoard. I didn't even now what it did. I looked at the arrow and...
