Fallen Stars

That's what she said...

The Reapers landed undetected 1 mile away from Raphael's compound. Geared up and ready to go they slowly moved through the rocky terrain watching for any signs of security or enemy scouts. Connors laid down in a high position and lifted his rifle to his shoulder using his scope to cover Mikaelson and Hawkes as they moved through rocks towards the compound.

Connors notices two scouts lazily guarding the perimeter. "You have two tangos about 50 meters out." Connors stated over the comm. "Got 'em." Mikaelson responded. Mikaelson and Hawkes pull their Reaper masks over their faces. Mikaelson's resembles an ink blotted skull and Hawkes' mask looks like something out of a bad horror movie.

The two reapers use hand signals as they get closer to the scouts. Mikaelson signals to take them out. Silent and deadly the two reapers appear to the enemy seemingly out of nowhere giving them no time respond. The two scouts drop dead before they even knew they were being watched. Connors gets up from his position and regroups with the team. Mikaelson gives a hand signal that means no noise only signals from here on out.

They eventually make their way to the compound remaing undetected and meeting no resistance. "Doesn't it seem odd that there's little to no security?" Hawkes pointed out. "Maybe they think no one would find them?" Connors replied. "Don't be so naive this is obviously a trap." Hawkes whispered back. "That's why I'm the only one going in and you guys are waiting out here." Mikaelson said while preparing to infiltrate the building.

Mikaelson spots an unguarded window on the second floor of the three story building. "There's my point of entry." Mikaelson whispers to the team. "I'm going in, keep your comms open." Mikaelson straps his grappling hook to his comm device and fires it into the window. He waits silently for a moment waiting to see if anyone noticed.

As soon as he knew it was clear he started climbing. Gabriella gave them a special gift for the mission called Spider Crawlers. They attach to the hands so they can use the grappling hook as a tether and scale up a wall with their hands. He enters through the window and attaches his silencer to his rifle. He crouches and starts moving quietly out of the empty room. He comes up to an empty hallway, "This isn't right where is everyone?" He wondered to himself. Now he is at high alert. He feels his heart beat move faster and a tingling through his body.

His eyes start slowly shifting from his bright green eyes to dark blue. His adrenaline pumps through his body and his senses get higher. He can hear the pipes creaking through the old building and smell the rats that call its walls home. He can feel the vibration of the universe surround him and sense the people inside the building. "There you are." He could feel an immense energy coming from another person. He approaches a door at the end of the hallway and creeps it open.

It leads to another hallway but this one has windows looking down at the center of the building. He peeks down and can see Raphael with two others talking about something. He pulls out a listening device from his backpack and puts it up to the window. "What about project Archangel?" One of the others asked. "She shut the program down and locked away the subjects." Raphael responded. "Do we know where?" The second one asked. "Some secret facility that I never had access to." She responded with frustration. "Any leads on that soldier we captured?" Raphael looked with a smile. "It appears he found us." She pointed up at the window where Mikaelson was hiding. "Shit", Mikaelson said to himself.

Mikaelson shattered the window with his rifle and started shooting but the bullets seemed to just fly around them. "What the Hell, I never miss." He thought to himself. He quickly calculates in his head how far down they are and makes a split second decision to jump. He pulls out his knife mid jump when he realizes he is no longer moving. Raphael has her arm stretched out holding him in place with Gravii. "Your human body makes you weak." Raphael said with a crooked smile. "My mission is to kill you and I never fail a mission!" Mikaelson yelled back.
