Emma and Her Parents

Into Granny's We Go

Emma's POV:
I leaned heavily on Killian, feeling like I could collapse from being exhausted both physically mentally, and emotionally. I closed my eyes wanting to sleep and I felt him carry me up the road towards Granny's.

Then I heard him open the door so I willed my eyes open and spotted my parents who were talking to themselves seriously that was until they saw us come in.
"Emma?" My mom shouted crossing her arms and I just smiled faintly as Henry raced over and nearly tackled me in a hug

"Why'd you run mom?" He asked me and I couldn't look him in the eyes so I murmured quietly.
"Henry doesn't matter right I'm here now aren't I ?" I asked him and he frowned at me for a good minute before he nodded.

"Yeah okay, come on let's go open you presents I'm dying to know what you got from everyone." He exclaimed merrily and I smiled at him just as I felt a hand rest on my shoulder.
"Henry why don't you get your mom's presents ready for her while we talk." My Dad told him and I cringed I was in for a lecture I could just feel it.

My dad grabbed my arm and gently lead me into the back of Granny's.
"Wanna tell us the real reason you took off?" He asked me and I shook my head making my mom frown.
"It wasn't a suggestion Emma!" She told me and I frowned.
"If it wasn't a suggestion then next time don't ask me if I want to tell you!" I complained and my dad sighed heavily.

"Enough stalling Emma just tell us!!!'' He fumed and I looked down my anger melting away as I looked into their eyes tears pooling.
" it was all just overwhelming and all and I just... " I trailed off feeling like crap then my mom broke me from my thoughts.

"You just what Emma?" She asked her tone slightly more gentle and compassionate.
"I just didn't deserve it!" I finally choked out tears now falling from my face.
