Daddy NOOOOOOO!!!! STOP DONT HURT ME!!! I screamed

He was on top of me beating me for what? I really don't know I was screaming for my mother but she was nowhere to be found. I was trying my hardest to fight back but it was no use. Ja'Karis was was stronger than me. His punches were way harder & stronger. I was on to verge of blacking out when I began to feel myself being shook around then I heard a deep voice calling my name. My eyes snapped open & I jumped up looking around. I realized I wasn't at home I kinda started to panic than a hand touched me. I looked up to see it was King. He instantly grabbed me & pulled me on to his lap. I cried into his chest wishing that I never had that dream I was nowhere near ready to tell him or anybody else what I had been through. I just wanted to go back to sleep. King began to rock me back & forth in a soothing motion, which made me feel safe & I slowly fell asleep.

As I rocked Nemo back to sleep I started to flashback to all the events that took place tonight. The night was great we went to the movies, ate dinner & then ended up back at my place. On are way to my place Nemo had fallen asleep so I picked her up & took her to my room & laid her on my bed. I took that as a good time to jump in the shower. After a good 20 minutes I jumped out the shower. I remembered that I didn't grab anything to wear. I wrapped a towel around my waist & went to my dresser & pulled out a pair of basketball shorts, & a pair of black Nike socks. As I was walking back to the bathroom I saw Nemo rolling around in her sleep. I went into the bathroom & got dressed. While I was getting finishing up I heard a loud scream. I jumped a little then ran to the room & seen Nemo running in her sleep then she screamed out...

"DADDY NOOO!!! STOP!!! DON'T HURT ME.!!!!"

She started crying & shaking to the point I had to wake her up. Her eyes jumped open & she jumped up. I gave her a min to regain herself then I grab & pulled her onto my lap. I didn't say anything I just held & rocked her back & forth letting her fall back asleep in my arms. At that moment I realized that this girl had been through somethings. I made a mental note to ask her all about the nightmare she had. I looked at the clock & it read 1:35am. I didn't even realize it was that late. After making sure Nemo was good & sleep I laid her down. I laid down next to her making sure to wrap my arms around her to keep her close. Then I fell asleep.

-Next Morning

I woke up with the worst headache ever. I tried to get up but felt a pair of arms around me. I looked to my right to see King sleeping. He looked soo peaceful & cute with his dreads pulled back showing his smooth caramel skin. I slowly lifted his arms & got out of the bed. I went to the bathroom & started the shower. After undressing I jumped in the warm water 20mins later I jumped out & wrapped in a big plush towel. I walked into the jointed master bathroom & grabbed my purse. I grabbed my extra bra & panty set out. Mama always told me to carry a spear no matter what. I'm glad I listened. I went back to the bathroom & finished doing my thing. After I was done I went back into King's room & grabbed on of King's long tank tops & a pair of his socks. Then I went downstairs to find somethings to cook.

Walking into the kitchen I looked into the fridge. I chose to make eggs, bacon, grits, & pancakes. While cooking I thought about the dream I had last night about Ja'Karis. I can't believe after all these years it started back. It's been years since I had that nightmare. Shaking the thought of last night out my mind & went back to cooking. Half way through I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I turned around to be face to face with King. He looked so cute I couldn't do anything but blush.

"I see you done made yourself at home." King said referring to me wearing his socks & tank.

"You know I look cute & you love the fact I'm wearing you clothes." I smirked

He laughed & said " Yea you right bout that, but wassup with that food ma?"

I turned around & made are plates & we sat down & ate. After we ate I cleaned up the mess. In the kitchen & we went to the living-room to watch TV.

"So what you got planned for today?" King asked flipping through channels.

"Nothing really might go do a little shopping then chill at home what bout you?" I asked laying my head on his chest.

" Gotta go check on the trap & make sure everything going right." He said wrapping his arm around me.

"Can I come with you? " I asked looking at the TV.

He paused for a min I guess thinking it over in his mind.

"Naw I don't think that's a good idea ma." He said shaking his head

"Why not? You act like Ima get hurt or something.. I'm a big girl I can take care of myself. I just wanna see what you do." I looked up at him.

I gave him the puppy dog look that I knew he wouldn't say no to.

"Iight ma Ima let you tag along but whatever happens at the trap stays at the trap Iight?" He said looking at me.

I nodded my head & kissed him on the check.
