Scavenger didn't know quite what to do,
He knew that the rocky back colony must have planned the attack all along.
They must have poisoned the food so that the best fighters would all de asleep when they attacked ,he thought of who to go to but then remembered fern,
He immediately ran to night falls den she was gathering potions ,herbs and scrolls
,She would need them to heal the injured warriors,
She looked around at scavenger in surprise and confusion
"Come quickly ferns in trouble"said scavenger
Nightfall gasped and ran into her sleeping cave to fetch her "book of the forest"
(Each medic cat has one,it's basically a guid of spells ,curses,how to make
potions ect.)
She found it and they both ran to fern ,he was lying on the ground and looking very tired,
"This is not good"said fern
As Scavenger looked at his brother all he could think about was the time when he to had been in ferns position
when he had to fight to stay alive ,when no body else could make it ,when the curse had been planned to kill his entire colony!
Nightfall was looking up something in her book and she told scavenger just to talk softy to fern and tell him he would make it through,
Ferns breathing was getting weaker and weaker as nightfall prepared her potion scavenger was continuously talking to fern and checking the battle when all of a sudden
Ferns breathing stopped
