"Nightfall?"said scavenger worriedly
"I'm nearly done"she replied
"No"said scavenger"it's fern"
"Fern stopped breathing!"
Nightfall stopped dead she turned and looked at fern,
Then without warning or explanation she ran ,she bolted through the
battle and dived into her den,
Seconds later she reappeared with a small blue crystal
She dashed back into ferns den and told scavenger to hold the crystal on ferns chest,
So he did and he waited,but nothing happened,
"It's not working"said scavenger
"Be patient"replied nightfall
She found the page in her book and read some weird code
There was a bright light in the den it flashed and out of the crystal
There was a strong wind and the it settled
Scavenger looked at fern
"Fern,are you there"he said
No reply came
Nightfall then walked up to scavenger
"It's over scavenger,it's over"
