After fourth period, lunchtime finally rolled around.
Now the challenge was to find a table. Yesterday, he skipped lunch completely, regretting it later, so he decided to buy school lunch today.
The food line part was easy. Go through, pick up a tray, scoop food onto it, then pay. A piece of cake, pie in Dean's world.
After getting his lunch, he scanned the room and its tables to find one that looked like he would fit into. He looked at every row before noticing two familiar faces sitting next to each other at a table.
That table was the one for him.
Dean shuffled through the tight spacing between two tables and eventually got there to sit down. The twins had been talking to each other before he sat down.
Once Jimmy realized who it was, his face lit up like a light. "Hiya Dean." He grinned, earning a silent wave in return. Castiel was sat there, chin on his hands staring at the table.
Dean raised an eyebrow due to Jimmy having a boxed lunch while Castiel had nothing. Jimmy sensed the confusion and explained.
"He refuses to eat cafeteria food unless they're serving hamburgers. Also, he doesn't like the things Dad packs so he basically starves himself until supper." He said, getting a poke in the elbow. He handed his brother an apple slice before adding, "But he does ask for some of my snacks normally so he's not entirely deprived of food."
Dean had noted when he met the twins that they were an odd pair and it was true now more than ever.
