"Who you texting Max?" Jack asked as he was trying to stick his face between me and my phone
"Alfo , and respect privacy please" We giggled before he could finally leave me alone ... I didn't want to go home ... I just Don't feel like it
"Is it the same alfo you were telling me about?" I nodded , yeah everybody who's a friend of mine knows Alfo ... since I actually always talk about her without even realizing it
now Rachel is calling , but I decided to ignore her calls and avoid her
"What are you doing? Answer it!" He tried to give it to me but I refused
"What's the matter Maxon?"
"Nothing , didn't you say earlier you want to have a walk around the neighborhood?" he nodded but then he gave me a glare
"tell me what's bothering you Lad"
"Fine" so we went out and had a walk , might as well add there were some girls who tried to flirt with us
"Hey what to do you say you and I each have one?" One what? what is he talking about?
"One what?"
"One of those girls earlier , come on just one Night like the old times" Jack never really changed huh? I'm trying to but eventually I'll still end up like this
"No Jack , I'm done with that .... how are you going to get a girlfriend if you're always like that?" I made him stop , but I didn't expect what he said next
"How are YOU going to get a girlfriend if your world only revolves around Alfo?" I stopped walking , It made my heart to skip a beat
"no offense but why aren't you making a move? she's now here and you're just doing nothing" I looked back at him , noticing that he really wanted an answer
"Because! this 'THING' will be gone eventually , she's not going to be here forever"
"So? make her stay!"
"I can't" "Why?" why? Because I might ruin her life , she's just a fling ... like one of the girls I've dated
"I don't want to ruin her life Jack , remember what happend to my ex?" he nodded and pats my back before we could continue to walk
"but I thought you changed Bruh"
"I thought so too , but I didn't .... and neither did you , besides her brother's birthday is coming up she'll go home forget all of this and continue on with her life"
"she has a brother?"
"Yeah , a little brother , but I don't really see that much"
"but dude it's not that easy"
"ofcourse it is , I've done it , and knowing Alfo , she can do it as well" he nodded , I didn't say a word .. and after that we went to a club , gotta admit , A bar is better than this
"Why are we here again?" Jack asks , he doesn't like clubs and neither do I so we left as soon as we stepped in and wander off on the streets instead
"But didn't you told me she likes you?"
"Yeah"
"awe that's sad bro .... oh and let me guess , your mum doesn't approve?" I nodded and smiled , because my mum is seriously crazy , I mean come on! she forces me to date so many girls that she can find , and out of all of the dates I've been through , I didn't feel a single spark , I was just playing with their hearts as an Entertainment , no girl has last a month with me , well except maybe Alfo ... but were not dating
speaking of Alfo , My mum knows her and she said she want someone prettier than her , and I dont want her to be as depressed as she was when my dad died , so I ended up doing whatever she tells me to do and I couldn't do anything about it since I promised my dad that I'd do anything for mum before he actually died , so I don't actually have a choice
"Max your phone is glowing" I looked down seeing Alfo was still trying to call me again, I have 5 missed calls from her , but I don't really want to talk right now
"Aren't you going to call her back or something?" I hesitated before shaking my head meaning no
"whatever , if she gets mad at you , it's your fault! not mine , alright?" I smiled and giggled
"Yeah sure , want to get a burger? I'm starving" after he nodded , we went to Burger King , and then we went to Starbucks to grab a hot coffee since It was raining and was cold as hell , goodthing I brought a jacket with me , on the other hand Jack was still freezing
"Hey Max can I borrow your jacket?" I shook my head before taking another sip of my coffee and a bite out of my burger
"Oh come on Max! I'm freezing!" He whines like a child
"No , Just take a couple of sips ... It'll warm you up" He nodded and did as I told and he wasn't whining anymore thank god!
"Hey Jack , can I sleep in your house tonight?"
"what for?"
"I just don't feel like going home today .."
"Oh okay"
