I've been waiting outside for Maxon and Rachel for almost an hour and 30 minutes ..... where the hell are they?
"Hey Yvette! why are you still here? I told you not to wait for me , I'll just take a cab" Ria runs out of the building and greeted me with a warm hug
"well because Max and Rach didn't came yet... I mean it's already 9:30 ... where are they?" I said and grabbed my phone to text them

hey Rach , when are you coming to get us?

oh shoot! right sorry! we've been practicing for our competition tomorrow ..... we're very sorry
"did Rachel mention any competition this morning?" I asked Ria and she shook her head , a few minutes later ... a car just stopped infront of us ... I grabbed Ria's arm and pulled her away from the road protectively
the windows of the passenger side slid down .... revealing Jack
"Why are you guys still here?"
"Maxon and Rachel forgot to pick us up" Ria answered ... and gave Jack a fake smile after
"what? why?" Jack got out of his car and opened the doors for us and say 'get in' , But it's really getting embarrassing because he has done so much and we haven't done anything for him at all
"no ... it's okay ... we'll just take a cab or something , you've done so much for us already" Ria said ... I guess she read my mind ... Jack then grabs Ria's hand and gently pulls her towards the car
"It's fine , besides ... Maxon wanted me to bring his old camera from auntie Beth's house... so let's go" we gave in and nodded
Ria took the passenger seat obviously and I was at the backseat ..... GREAT I'm the third wheel aren't I?
"thanks ... they said that they're practicing for a competition? do you know something about it?" I asked ... hoping I'll get an answer
"no sorry" he also closes the door for us and got back to the driver seat , what a gentleman.
while Jack was driving I texted Rachel

Jack picked us up , on our way and please explain

I let out a sigh thinking when did they entered a competition?

when we got to our apartment , we knocked on Maxon and Rachel's door .... they didn't answer , we knocked again ... louder this time and it finally got their attention
"Oh hey guys , we were just practicing for the competition" Maxon greeted us with Rachel smiling by his side .... they were sweaty .. they smell bad already and were panting loudly as we got inside their room .... we noticed that the whole place is a mess ... including the beds
"What the fuck are you guys doing? who fucks better competition? " Jack said causing Maxon and Rachel to widen their eyes
"no you dickhead ... practicing for the dance competition tomorrow" Maxon said as he slapped Jack's arm
"okay okay ... anyway , here's that old camera" Jack gave Maxon the camera before I start asking questions
"so when did you guys entered the competition?"
"just this morning , they sent us a letter and Maxon emailed them that we accept before we started practicing" Rachel said before she looks at Maxon and asked "did you find it yet?"
"find what?" Jack beated me in asking that question
"our old dance steps ... when we we're still in highschool and ... here it is!" Maxon said and showed us the camera ... They were both in a group ... all of them were wearing a black and a cap ... they pointed out who they were in the video and I was shocked that Maxon looked different before
"wow , that was you bro?" Maxon nodded ... I was just there waiting for Jack to make fun of Maxon haha rude
"you look soo fucking different .... like SOOOO DIFFERENT" Jack was now laughing causing Maxon to glare at him
"oh shut up Jack .."
"okay enough of that ... we'll leave you two alone ... let's go" Ria said and pulled Jack away who was sticking his tongue out at Maxon
"real fucking mature Jack ..." Maxon said and laughed before we all got out and left the two inside
"you girls want to go out and eat mcdonalds? its still open ... my treat?"
"yeah sure ... but we'll just split the bill okay?"
"okay" we left the building and decided to walk to mcdonalds ... since it's just a few blocks away
once we got to mcdonalds ... we ordered and took a seat near the window , when we all started eating ... silence took over , and it's pretty awkward if you'd ask me
"do you guys think that Maxon and Rachel will get together?" I said to break the silence
"I see them as a couple" Ria said and Jack disagrees
"what why?" I asked and was about to take a sip of my drink but what Jack said next made me froze
"oh you didn't know? Maxon's the type of guy who dates girls just for fun , And if Maxon cares about someone ... he wouldn't want to be in a relationship with her and because his mother doesn't like the idea of them being together" that just shocked me ...
"then we should warn her" I unexpectedly said .. causing him to shake his head
"we shouldn't ... it might affect their friendship , but then again Rachel knew him before .... so I think she knows whats up"
"Okay .... but what if Rachel like ... confess that she likes him? what happens then?" I asked
"that actually already happened .... Maxon just stayed quiet , don't tell this to her but Maxon has been in love with her ever since he met her , when he just moved here and when we started to become friends ... there wouldn't be a day where he didn't mention her" I felt bad for Rachel ....
"Then find him someone else .... I don't want Rachel getting hurt" Ria said ... and I nodded
"Please ..." I begged ... I dont want to see her in pain again .... I dont want to remember what happened to her and Dylan.
"I'll try ... And don't worry , as long as it's someone pretty he'll definitely take the bait" ....
"what a fuck boy" I said under my breath hoping he didn't hear it but unfortunately he did
"I know , but don't you worry he doesn't hurt girls that bad , he still has a heart"
