"What are the chances you'd ever meet someone like that? He wondered. Someone you could love forever, someone who would forever love you back? And what did you do when that person was born half a world away? the math seemed impossible."-Rainbow Rowell, Eleanor and Park
"Jinyoung-a," A staff patted him. "I'm so sorry to wake you up but we're already at the studio."
"What time is it?" Jr. asked lazily.
"It's 4 in the morning." The staff said. "I have to go outside to see the studio and the editor." He announced. "Go outside whenever you're ready."
"Ne." He answered. "Give me two minutes." The staff nodded and went out of the van.
It has been a long, tiring but wonderful year for GOT7. They were touring, recording for their next mini album, guesting, doing commercials- by group and individually, and modeling for different brands and magazines- like the one he'll be doing today.
"Jinyoung-a!"
"Ne. Coming!" He yelled before stepping out of the van.
"I really am sorry for re-scheduling the photo shoot." The editor apologized on Jr. "The photographer who will take shots of you happens to have a conflict on her schedules. I really am sorry." The editor bowed and apologized.
"It's alright." Jr. said. "I understand. Everyone has to make a way on their schedules."
"Jinyoung-a, please go to that room to have your make up and clothes done." A staff of the magazine approached him.
"Got it." He said and smiled. "Later, then." He turned to the editor and went to the room the staff told him.
"Well, hello there, Andy!" He greeted to a familiar face he saw when he entered the room.
"Sit there and don't touch anything." The girl seems to be used to Jr.'s charms and quirkiness.
"Good morning too, Andy." He said sarcastically.
"Good morning. Now sit." Andy commanded and continued preparing the clothes for the photo shoot and obviously didn't took the sarcasm.
"Anyway, I didn't know you're my stylist today?" Jr. wondered. "I thought you're with the boys photo shoot until next week?"
"It's because you sleep like an old man, that's why." She teased. "I am. InStyle Magazine just wanted me to style you for this shoot. How cool was that?"
"Why are you so harsh on me?" Jr. protested. "Oh wait, let me rephrase that. Why are you only nice with Jackson?" He teased and saw the girl's red-faced reaction.
That's how you play.
"No, I'm not!"
"Your face told me the exact opposite, Andy." He said and grinned.
"Shut up." The girl embarrassingly stated.
"No wonder he likes you a lot." Jr. sheepishly smiled.
"Wha-" She stuttered. "Now, sit and let's start your transformation."
"You, meanie!"
--
"Here's the first pair of clothes you will be wearing." Andy announced.
"How many am I going to wear the whole shoot?" Jr. asked. "Am I going to wear the whole rack full of clothes today?" He jokingly questioned?
"Yes." Andy said in a matter of fact tone. "So, go change for the first pictorial. I heard the photographer is already outside."
"What? I will seriously like have 11 change of clothes?" He protested.
"Yes, Mister. Now start changing!" Andy yelled at him in frustration.
"Okay, okay." Jr. surrendered.
After 3 minutes, Jr. went out and let Andy fixed the unbuttoned shirt, distorted necktie, and his untied shoe laces.
"There. All done." She announced.
"Jinyoung-a," A staff came in the room right after Andy did her finishing touches. "Ready for your first take?"
"Ne." He turned to Andy and received a 'Fighting!' hand gesture. "Thank you for transforming me." He said and they both laughed.
He was on his way to the studio when he bumped into someone.
"Sorry." The girl said and bowed.
"No. Sor-" Oh. The girl immediately left without hearing Jr. apologized.
"Weird." He thought.
The girl was wearing a black hoodie, paired with black leather skirt and a pair of Adidas Stan Smith, has this huge backpack that made Jr. wondered how she managed to still walk with that size of bag-for the girl was small, like she was only 5' 2. She seems too grumpy or maybe just cramming because of a deadline- he thought, and was sipping a Starbucks' green tea.
"So, let's start." A girl announced as Jr. walked in. "Lights, please."
"No, move it there." She commanded. "Bring another pillow here."
"There. All set."
"Jinyoung-a!" The editor waved at him telling 'this way'
"I want you to first meet your photographer for this photo shoot." Editor announced and he nodded. "Allyson, can you please come here for a second."
The girl who was standing back at him finally turned to them and to his surprise, it was the girl he bumped into earlier.
"Hey." He greeted and waved.
"You know her?" Editor asked.
"Oh, no." he said shyly. "It 's just, I bumped with her earlier."
"Sorry for not looking on my way." He said and bowed to Allyson.
The girl seems flustered and embarrassed on Jr.'s action. "It-It's fine. No need to a-apologize."
"Never thought you're the photographer." He blurted.
"Get the a lot." Allyson answered playfully.
"No, I mean you're too young for the job. Don't get me wrong."
"It's fine. I hear that too like a lot."
"She may be young but she's one of the best high fashioned magazine photographers in Korea." The editor added.
"Jinja?" Jr. asked amusingly.
"Ugh. Don't believe in her." Allyson groaned. "Seohyun-unnie!"
"She's just humble." The editor teased. "So, I leave the photo shoot on you two."
"Don't mind her and what she said."
"Let's start."
Neither did they know, as soon as Allyson said "Let's start." The photo shoot wasn't the only one that started- fate sure knows when and where to make a person miserable.
