She screamed and cursed the day her heart stopped beating, leaving an empty hole in her chest forever frozen in time

Her veins were wires that poured bloody gasoline, leaving dark stains on her white sheets

She was dead inside
The machine spread like cancer and swallowed her whole

Her wires were intertwined with this disgusting reality
She looked in the mirror and saw nothing
She sat on the floor and tried to write something
Anything at all
But the words got stuck in her metallic brain
She banged her head against the wall, trying to free the thoughts held captive in her closed mind
No way to speak them out
No way to write them down

Looking out the window she saw the flames rising in the night
Burning up a world no one could ever escape
She whispered goodnight to the stars that were hidden in the sky
As a dark tear escaped her metal made eyes.
