That night she broke free
Walked out the door in full ecstasy
Passed by the crazy man and waved him goodnight
He was lying on the concrete, his glassy eyes staring at the sky
That night she thought
She thought about all the things she used to be looking for
She didn't have much time before the last drop of her blood turned into dark poison
She was dying, she knew it
She was running, she knew it
From the world she would eventually belong to
She knew it.
