One Night, a young, 15 year old teen named Venus, was laying down on her bed, starring at the stars on her ceiling glancing over at her 14 year old sister from time to time who slept soundly across the room. Realizing she wasn't tired, she grabbed the tv remote from her side table beside her bed, turning on the television. "The Dead are rising-eating the flesh of the living" Venus sat there for a minute, listening to each word that poured out of the reporters
mouth, looking over at her sister after each sentence with worry in her eye.
Than she paused in thought-
"Wait a minute, is this even real?" Venus said to herself. "Toronto went up in flames, Ottawa is infested and it's said that in approximately 2 days, Arnprior will be hit too" said the reporter. Since the girls mother and father left town, that meant they were all alone, defenceless, and vulnerable.
Venus knew that they weren't safe, and that they had to leave immediately.
"Molly, Molly! Get up!" She said, as she poked her, "W-what?" Molly cried. "Just let me sleep, ugh" she complained
"Mol, you have to get up, we're in serious danger!" Venus warned. Molly turned around and sat up, "Wait, what are you talking about?" Molly asked with fear. "No time to explain, we have to get out of Arnprior, now!" Venus shouted, "Ok, ok I'm getting up" Molly slugged, getting out of bed. "Pack some clothes, food, blankets, first aid kits and some medicine!" Venus demanded.
-20 Minutes Later-
It's was 4:00am and the girls were all set for the hard day ahead of them-
"Molly, do you have everything?" asked Venus, "Yes, I'm all set" Molly replied. "Ok, let's hit the road" Venus said.
