----------- Tino's POV ---------
My eyes seemed to stay locked with the others for a few seconds. After the 'moment' I snapped back to reality.
I squealed out of fear, although nobody was around, and sped to my house. I heard the footsteps behind me too. I wasn't very fast anyways so they would catch up to me soon. I got to the front door of my house and felt a hand place on my shoulder.
I squeaked and ran into the house. I had no time to close the door so I just raced up into the first room I saw. Just great, it was the balcony and it had no lock. I soon saw the two men standing right in front of me. I backed towards the end of the platform.
"Don't worry we won't hurt you" said the one with the black and red coat. "I'm Mathias, and this is my friend/brother Berwald" he said with a large smile. He held out his hand, and I glanced at it before looking at the two. "I-I'm Tino" I stammered and shook Mathias's hand.
----------- Berwald's POV --------
I watched as Mathias made friends with the new comer. He seemed a little scared but was opening up a bit. I walked up to Tino keeping my expressionless face. "Do you mind if we stay here for a while?" I asked.
The other nodded slowly. He was so small, that was probably the reason he was scared. After a long, boring chat between Mathias and Tino, the smaller male led us to our home.
The village was tiny so I had to stay with a few other villagers that let us stay with them. They fed us, gave us water, and let us feel at home. Well, me and Mathias have never really been in our own home because we ran away from the orphanage at five years old.
When the sun started to set we saw all the villagers run into their home. Probably because of the monsters. I wonder if this village has any defense anyways, I'd protect if they had no one to protect it. I looked over towards Mathias to see he was already fast asleep. "Goodnight" I mumbled and slipped into bed.
